I tried getting into it before but it just bored me. I pushed through the first episode and just finished season 1 and this has to be one of the best TV series ever. It aged extremely well and the arena scene with Titus Pullo has to one of the best scenes I've ever seen. Being a HBO series I fully expected spoiler but instead it does something completely different.
Also the relationship between Titus Apollo and Vorenius is extremely well done.
