I put off watching GOT for years thinking it wouldn't be my thing and finally decided to give it a shot on Saturday... I've watched up through season 1 episode 8. It's fantastic and I'm completely hooked.
Again, I have only just begun so please no spoilers.
My question for you all-knowing fans: there are so many characters, locations, family lines, etc. so how did you guys get it all memorized? I'm doing good with the main names but the less frequent ones are hard for me to recall on the spot when it's mentioned. Is there a SPOILER-FREE cheat sheet online somewhere with all of names of things and people with images attached separated by seasons? I ask you guys because I tried to search but couldn't find one that seemed spoiler free (I've now seen one character look drastically different and know they'll be around for at least a long time :/ ergh)
