Finding a Way to Make this Bridge Mean Dam Thing

So, this bridge means a fair lot. Seems like the first 5 episodes are gonna be all about the construction of it and the fights and issues that we see in the trailer. Looks like Rick is hurt and potentially bit? During construction of this bridge. For a little mission like the bridge to take up 5 episodes, it needs to have more of an impact than “Hey this is how our horses get to Alexandria faster”. What I’m thinking is this,

Simply put, I think the bridge should be the location of the Heads on the Pikes from the comics. Imagine, this important symbol for the New Beginning, te bridge the great Rick Grimes worked on, his last project in this world, is where the Whisperers decide to murder multiple people from the communities, it goes from a memorial of Ricks efforts to this place filled with darkness. It ups the stakes further imo and turns up the heat for the communities to fight the Whisperers.
