My father watched till episode 8 of season 2. He told me he loves the show but I can tell he feels like its too slow. I've told him that season 2 is the slowest season of the entire series and that it mainly consists of character building. He didn't even see one of the best scenes of the season yet ("Stay out of my territory").
My friend stopped watching at season 1. After some convincing he continued watching untill around episode 9 of season 3. He doesn't give me a particular reason as to why he stopped watching, he just told me he loses interest sometimes in a show or videogame. I don't think its the slow nature of the show for him, because he has watched series like True Detective (s1) which is very slow as well.
I understand that Breaking Bad isn't for everyone. But I do feel like both my father and friend would be very glad if they watched it.
I don't want to force anyone to watch anything. I just want to share the best show ever created with the people I care about.
Advice would be greatly appreciated.
