What if Walter gave Krazy-8 a paper plate with his food instead?

If Walter uses a paper plate, Krazy-8 will have nothing to use to try and stab Walter with. What happens next? Does Walt still have the guts to kill him? Does he succeed? Does he let him go? What happens next?
