In the aftermath of Walt running over the two drug dealers, he meets with Gus in the middle of the desert. After going over the options, Walt gets Gus to agree to continue letting him cook but that he would need a new assistant. Walt replies "I could get right on that". Gus refuses and ends up putting Gale back in the lab, but if Walt had been allowed to pick a new lab assistant who would it have been?
