I watched a edited version of The Hobbit trilogy where it was reduced to two films. It made the movies so much better, as it got rid of all the bullshit that was in them.
Now I know that Game of Thrones seasons 7 & 8 aren't similar to The Hobbit movies because the series needed MORE content to make it better. However, I wonder if the seasons could be edited together to make the two most hated seasons flow a little better.
- Deleted scenes could be added in
- Scenes of additional landscapes could be added in (to remove so much "teleporting")
- Add scenes from previous seasons in if they aren't obvious that they are from previous seasons
- And good god, if some movie magic can make Jon Snow be the one to kill the Night King
Let me know your thoughts and how something like this could maybe help these seasons be less shitty
