[NO SPOILERS] can i start reading from a feast for crows?

I have completed the series and want to read books.I know that both are completely different parts and i should start reading from Beginning. But i am not in mood of going through same things again and I've heard that story takes a different toll especially from s5.

So, it is really necessary to start from book one ?

[No spoilers] What prequel, spinoff story is most interesting for you?

For me it is most recent big event, Robert's Rebellion. O maybe something completely ancient like story behind the building if the Wall.
