The Problem with Buried

I have an objection to Buried (Season 5, Episode 10). Jack's gang, after talking to Lydia, go to Declan's gang's compound and kill them all. We don't see this - we just hear it from inside the buried RV where Lydia is hiding. When Todd brings her out all we see is dead bodies scattered around. My question is how plausible is that scenario? Jack's gang arrived in vehicles, they would have been seen coming, and Declan's gang were all armed and would have returned fire at a moment's notice. So how is it possible in that case for one side to wipe out the other while suffering no casualties themselves all in a few minutes? I realize plot devices move the storyline forward in certain ways deliberately, but didn't the scriptwriters just pick the simplest way to change gangs rather than a way that was plausible?

[EVERYTHING] Just something that bothers me

Am I the only one that gets incredibly annoyed by people saying certain events/endings would be disappointing because they are "too obvious"? I mean yeah they're obvious NOW, but at the beginning of the series no one could have guessed how things would turn out. GRRM and D&D have done an amazing job essentially training fans to notice all the foreshadowing and tiny details that actually mean a whole lot more. We've all become master players by now and it is easier for us to speculate events and outcomes. I have no doubt that the surprises will continue but we're down to the final seasons and books so there are only a certain number of things that could happen at this point. In my opinion the only disappointing ending would be one that comes completely out of left field and doesn't tie the story together at all.

I've been talking to Stefan (Robbie's actor) for about 8 months dancing around an interview, and with the recent awful, awful news of his illness, I decided that we needed to do something soon.

So, I've been granted what I've been told is likely his final interview, with that, I didn't really want to ask him 'normal' questions, so I had a better idea, I'll ask some questions about his favorite cake and stuff, but I'd really like to collate a really really big list of messages from well-wishers telling him how wonderful he is and how thankful we were for him, and I need your help!

(ICYMI, Stefan was diagnosed with cancer in September 2016, and around a week ago at his 'final check-up' he found out it was back, and stage 4, his lovely wife said 'his candle burns quickly')
