Best moments of Season 7 and 8?

In your opinion, what moments in Seasons 7 and 8 were the best written?

How I want season 9 to start.

Hey guys. Since the walking dead is in a tough situation with public opinion, they need to start off with a bang. I hope the premiere starts with the time jump text. For example two years later...

Two characters wandering out in an unfamiliar area with tall grass (Possibly Tara and Rosita). Start with creepy whispering that is very subtle. Play this out like the introduction to the whisperers. Tara asks Rosita if she heard the voices.

Time passes.

More dialogue and out of nowhere a walker jumps out and Rosita takes it out. Then they both hear whispering this time...as well as walker noises.

Now you can do a ton of different directorial tricks that would be scary in a Michael Myers way. One idea: have walkers creep up on them this time Rosita has a stab wound from behind. This walker looks different. Black hollow eyes whispering something creepy. “Lost?”

Have them scatter, unable to successfully attack a few whisperers. Rosita is now in serious danger with a knife wound in the back through the stomach area. Tara helps her run to a nearby horse. Fans of the comics will expect the horse to be alive and well for the escape scene. Only, this time the horse is somehow incapacitated. Suggesting the whisperers took out their getaway plan. Running towards the camera in fear, we get a Michael Myers chasing Lorie Strode vibe and the opening credits roll.

This would be a simple way to start fresh yet still following one of the best openings to the new beginning arc. Just introduce the whisperers right away and speed this up. More and more it seems the show is only going to last another season or so. Let’s do the whisperers right and somehow do Rick justice in the end.

If you could take elements from both the comic and tv show, what would your ideal (perfect) “TWD” look like and what medium (video game, movie, cartoon etc.) would you use to express your vision?

Saviors negatives differences Comic to show

.- Saviors burn people's matress.

- Saviors demand "half their shit" for not killing them as opposed of cleaning the area of walkers for them.

- 656 saviors (https://walkingdead.wikia.com/wiki/User:Mistertrouble189/Survivors#Season%206) as opposed to around 250-300 saviors on the comics.

Thoughts? Agree or Disagree? What I miss

[SPOILERS] Why was the Nights Watch in such a bad state at the beginning on the first book?

Hi all, (disclaimer: sorry if this question has already been answered or is really obvious)

At the start of the first book, how comes the Nights Watch was in such a bad state

Firstly, the kingdom has been through a period of relative peace, with a long summer. There should have been surpluses of money and men that could be sent to the wall.

Secondly, Ned had been ruler of the north for over a decade. He showed great respect for the Nights Watch. He would have known about their situation better than anyone as his brother was first ranger. Ned would have had the kings ear. Surely he would have had some influence with the king/other rulers in westeros.

Thirdly, the kings hand had been jon arynn, a sensible hand who would have listened to requests from the Nights Watch/Ned

I would understand if there wasn't a lot of money to be sent north as king Robert spent a lot and may not have valued the Nights Watch, but surely they could have made a deal for prisoners to be sent north.

With Ned being such a respected ruler, and him holding the wall in such high regard, why did that not rub off on to other leaders, with them sending bastard sons off to live an honourable life.

Sorry if this question is really obvious but I've always wondered. Thanks in advance!

How many of you binged watched breaking bad?

A common theme here is the character development, the way the plot takes it's time, etc. I'm asking because so many people seem to knock BrBd because it felt rushed. I know binging on a show gives you a different perspective than watching it in full. For those who didn't binge we grew for 6 years with the characters. I know from amc that a lot of people jumped on at the halfway point or before the 5th season. I'm not knocking anyone who binged I'm just curious how many did. The weird part I'm finding is people who watched it from the beginning seem to not love BCS. Which those are the people I'm judging because both are great.

So what time did you jump on board?
