Obviously Chuck's major conflict with his brother is their shared profession ("I can take Slippin Jimmy just fine, but Slippin Jimmy with a law degree is like a chimp with a machine gun"). We know that he seems to be functioning well enough up until Jimmy tells him he's passed the bar, and by the time the show starts it appears as if Jimmy's still relatively new to the profession (taking PD cases), so we can safely assume that his perceived sensitivity to electronics manifested in that short interim period. Am I just grasping at straws or is there something here?
