Season Finale Spoilers So I’ve read a huge synopsis of the season finale and it is both epic and heartbreaking. These spoilers are not marked as official by TSDF but the spoilers have been accurate so far. DO NOT CLICK “KEEP READING” IF YOU DON’T WANT TO SEE SPOILERS! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!” I am going to tag multiple characters to throw people off so don’t worry just because you see a certain character in the tags.

I will probably miss something because it is long and I can’t cover everything.

*Sasha will be shown listening to music in a dark background throughout the episode, leaving us to wonder what is going on.

*Sasha will have a flashback of before they left in the season 6 finale. She and Abraham kiss and then he says that something is wrong with Maggie and the baby so he is going to join Rick in taking her to Hilltop. Sasha begs him not to go.

*Negan wakes Sasha up and brings her a huge breakfast, saying that it’s a big day. She asks him what he needs her for.

*Flashback of Maggie and Sasha bonding over losing Beth and Tyreese in season 5.

*Dwight wants Negan dead. Tara confronts him over killing Denise. He says that he wasn’t aiming for her and Daryl pulls a knife on him. There is debate over whether to trust Dwight. He explains that he served Negan to protect Sherry but she left and is the reason Daryl escaped. Tara tries to get Daryl to kill him. Rosita tells the group that Sasha is with Negan if she is even alive. Dwight explains how he can help because the Saviors are coming.

*Sasha is in the darkness listening to “Someday We’ll All Be Free” by Donny Hathaway. She has another flashback. Abraham explains that he has to go. Sasha tells him that she had a dream that he died.

*Sasha is seen being told Negan’s plan. He plans to use her as leverage so that Rick and group don’t resist. Negan plans to Lucille three people and then move on with a better understanding. Sasha is upset and convinces Negan to reduce the number of victims to just one.

*Flashback of Sasha and Maggie at Hilltop deciding whether or not to stay there. *Scene of the Kingdom from the preview. Morgan wants to ambush the saviors on his own. Ezekiel tries to get him to join his group instead. Morgan follows behind.

*The Scavengers arrive at Alexandria. Jadis asks Rick if he is with Michonne and kind of hits on him.

*The Saviors find the road blocked by trees and Eugene comes up with a way to move them. *Sasha is in the darkness and has another flashback. She tries to get Abe to stay and keep watch in Alexandria. Abe asks how he died in her dream. Sasha lies and describes some beach death. Abe laughs about how he hates the beach and says that won’t happen. Sasha really wants them to stay but Abe insists that they both go.

*Sasha and Eugene walk together at the Sanctuary and talk about choices. Then there’s another flashback of Sasha and Maggie talking about Tyreese and Beth.

*The Saviors arrive at Alexandria. Negan announces that he has Sasha and explains that he wants all of the guns, all of the lemonade, Daryl back, the pool table and chalk, and one person of their choosing for Lucille. He then goes to open a coffin. That’s the darkness that Sasha was in this entire time.

*Sasha has a flashback of telling Abe that felt so real. He kisses her tenderly and they leave together, talking about being badasses on the front line and some cute bickering.

*Then there’s a flashback of Sasha and Eugene leaving the Sanctuary. Eugene gives Sasha the iPod that she’s been listening to. Negan tells Sasha that she does not need to ride in the coffin but she wants to nap in there and asks for a bottle of water. After being closed in there, she takes the suicide pill and listens to music. Sasha is at peace.

*Back in the present, Negan opens up the coffin. Sasha lunges out as a walker and tries to bite Negan. Carl takes advantage of the distraction and starts shooting. Jadis holds Rick at gunpoint. Another savior pulls Sasha off of Negan and gets eaten by her.

*Michonne is struggling to fight a blonde female and they beat the crap out of each other.

*Rick tries to make another deal with Jadis. She refuses and shoots him, causing him to fall off of the stand. Jadis forces Rick to walk over to the Saviors and it turns out that they have Carl.

*NOTE: TSDF originally said that Rosita was supposed to be shot here but it was not mentioned in this summary. It is possible that this was cut. Injuries are not supposed to be fatal if it does still happen.

*Rick thinks he sees Michonne fall off of a ledge. Negan taunts him and chastises him for defying his rule. Rick says that he will kill him but Negan gets ready to Lucille Carl as punishment.

*As Negan is preparing to hit Carl with Lucille, Shiva arrives and kills some saviors. Negan stops because of the distraction. The Kingdom arrives with Carol in the lead. Maggie arrives with troops from Hilltop as backup. Negan recognizes her as the widow from before.

*Battle ensues with gunfire and screams. Ezekiel yells that Alexandria will not fall this day.

*Rick tries to crawl over to a gun but a savior is ready to kill him. Maggie and Enid arrive in time to save him. Rick is later seen armed and firing at the saviors.

*Negan is hiding behind a car and fires until he runs out of ammo. He complains about the tiger and that the widow Maggie is still alive. He whines to Simon and then runs off.

*Two saviors try to sneak up on Carol and Ezekiel but Carol kills both of them. Another tries to sneak up on Rick and is killed by Morgan.

*Jadis and Brion set off a smoke bomb while all of the enemies flee. Rick and the others pursue them. *Members of Alexandria fire at a truck as it is leaving. Negan is in the passenger seat and flips them off. Everybody chases after them but are forced to shield themselves from gunfire.

*Rick and Carl find Michonne beat up against a wall and the woman she was fighting dead. She tries to speak but Rick and Carl hold her hands and the scene changes to them being in the infirmary.

*At the Sanctuary, Negan asks Eugene how Sasha could have died and he speculates that it was due to lack of oxygen. Negan pretends to agree but eyes him cautiously. He is later seen announcing that they are going to war and the Saviors cheer.

*There is a voice over of Maggie talking about the journey so far as people are wandering the streets of Alexandria. Carol and Morgan sit next to each other and are shown to still be supporting each other.

*Maggie and Jesus find Sasha as a walker in the woods. Maggie cries and puts her down.

*The three groups eat together and people start introducing themselves to each other. Rick, Maggie and Ezekiel give speeches.
