Is anyone else simply annoyed by Chuck's personality type?

I really thoroughly believe that the writers made sure to put a lot of effort into Chuck not just BEING a dick but also having the personality stereotype of the American version of "posh", which is evident in Chuck's character traits. He is a very indirect communicator--currently referring to Episode 3 of Season 3, in the opening scene, as Chuck is talking to the man in his home. There are many great episodes that delve deep into the type of person Chuck is.... Chuck is an "upper-classy" kind of personality. His politeness is ingrained in his personality to the point that he must communicate indirectly ("I hate to say it but it might be time to kill the lights.") and this results in him sometimes appearing to actually believe that he is "better than thou". Obviously, looking at Howard's personality it's clear that Chuck's character needed to align to a "Professional lawyer personality", and that may be all it is. But I really think Chuck's character is "abnormally annoying" intentionally, because if what he does doesn't make you hate him, then his personality will.

I found an interview of Michael McKean and there's only a few "character traits" that are evidently Michael's traits, mostly things he has little control over and that have nothing to do with being "an annoying person".
