Ross Geller is constantly shat on, and it drives me crazy. Yes, early-seasons Ross was a bit whiny and unlikable, but he easily becomes the most entertaining character on the show around season 5.
The main reason this happened, in my opinion, is because the show began to utilize David Schwimmer's ability as a physical comedian. I mean seriously, this dude goes for it. Here are just some of my favorite examples:

There are plenty of other examples too. The point is, I think Ross is an extremely under appreciated sitcom character. Just check the comments on this post. People will probably just say that as the largest Friend, he should've eaten the other five.
