Something Walt said to Jesse in the finale that I only just picked up on
So I just finished my 4th rewatch of the whole series and something that was said that just just blew my mind that I didn’t really understand for some reason on my last rewatches, after Walt kills Jack and slides the gun to Jesse he says “You want this, do it” and Jesse responds with “no, say it. Say YOU want this” holy fuck I can’t believe this flew over my head but I finally realised that this is probably the first time Walt is telling the truth and isn’t trying to manipulate Jesse for his own gains, must have been a huge relief from Jesse. Just gave me even more feels.
.
This is the best show ever made and that’s coming from a huge Game Of Thrones fan. Might be time to finally watch Better Call Saul I think

Can we take a moment and appreciate that Penn and Teller Fool Us allows Magicians to upload their own segments to their Youtube channel?
I've noticed multiple people who appeared on Penn and Teller have their segment uploaded to their personal Youtube Channel. So far I haven't seen or heard of a single DCMA. This gives everyone of them a chance to be seen on Youtube.

Los Pollos Hermanos commercial
In S3E9: "Kafkaesque" the episode begins with a commercial for Los Pollos Hermanos. During the first shot, there is legal jargon on the bottom that reads "Los Pollos Hermanos, Inc. is a registered trademark of Madrigal Electromotive GmbH" Did anyone else notice this? How far in advance did Vince and the writing team have all of this show planned?

Netflix's "Big Mouth"
A weird and funny combination of Family Guy, Recess, and middle school sex-ed videos. Super rated R, but also amazingly blunt and realistic commentary about kids going through puberty and how they might view it. The writers refused to shy away from topics and scenarios that literally everyone has gone or went through.
It's a helluva vulgar cartoon, it may not be for everyone, but I'd recommend giving it a shot.

6-16/7-1 How does this make any sense for Neegan?
First, the pretty big effort spent corralling Rick's group into that clearing. How was it even possible, really, and was it worth that effort? All those trees? Chained together walkers?
Second, how does keeping Rick and the group alive make any sense? They have killed 50+ of your group. They have demolished you at every encounter. They are a legit threat, and you want to co-opt them so they work for you?
I get the whole serfdom thing. Take over other groups, kill a few people and scare them, and then take what they produce. Makes sense for a group like Hilltop, with spineless Gregory in charge. But Rick's group? They are fucking commandos, hardened killers that have beaten your army every time they've come in contact to date. Why would you keep them alive to work for you?
Surely, the wise choice is you just kill the leadership and take over Alexandria - the place itself is reward enough. But to keep Rick alive and expect he'll just fall in line like everyone else? Seems too stupid for Negan - a man who has created a post apocalyptic nation.

[NO SPOILERS] Do you miss GOT? Check out this shows...
Rome
Rome could easily have achieved Game of Thrones's popularity. It’s a shame that it was canceled after only two seasons. Rome never got the audience it needed to keep it on the screen and it was crazy expensive to produce.
Good news is, you can still watch 22 episodes of this excellent series on HBO Go or Amazon on Demand. Everything you need to know is covered in those few episodes. It doesn’t feel unfinished. You’ll know who is standing and who has fallen by the end of the second season.
Rome lacks in nail-biting fights, but it more than makes up for it with its gritting storyline and convincing acting. If you are looking for a great storyline like Game of Thrones, Rome is your best bet.
Vikings
Vikings follows the story of Ragnar Lothbrok, a farmer who ultimately becomes the king of Denmark, as he terrorizes France and England with his constant raids. He is joined by his troubled brother Rollo, his first wife Lagertha, and the shipbuilder Floki in his quest.
Although it’s not Game of Thrones by any stretch of the imagination, I still love its storyline that has managed to captivate for four seasons. As you watch, you'll find yourself pulling for guys you loathed in the first season and booing last season's heroes. The plot and character development is artful, and as far as the depiction of medieval Scandinavia goes, I’d say it’s pretty accurate. If you love Game of Thrones but its nudity and violence are sometimes a bit too much to handle, you should defiantly give Vikings a shot.
Black Sails
Sex, violence, and nudity – Black Sails doesn't lack in these elements.
Airing on Starz and set as a prequel to Treasure Island, the plot follows the adventure of one of the most feared and infamous pirates of golden age, Captain Flint. On an island overrun with thieves, pirates, and prostitutes, Flint has to maintain control. The first season helps you get acquainted with the characters and style of storytelling. You might think that everything is a tad flashy, but the second and third seasons will help change your opinion.
If you are looking for some action, Black Sails is a good bet.
Spartacus
Spartacus is a series crammed with some intense action, violence, and drama – everything you’d expect from a TV show like Game of Thrones. Though this show doesn’t dwell in fantasy, it has gladiators with swords. Did I mention that there are tons of plot betrayals? You can stream the entire thing on Netflix.
The Last Kingdom
It’s a shame that more people don’t know about this series or the story it's based on. Just like Game of Thrones, The Last Kingdom is based on a series of books called The Saxon Stories. Set during 10th century AD in England at the time when Viking invasions were at their peak, The Last Kingdom is a story about Uhtred, an orphan born in Northumbria who must choose between the people who raised him and his native country.
Eye-gouging, beheading, stabbing, and crucifixion, amongst other things, is all here for your pleasure. There are a lot of bone-crunching battles with ever so satisfying clings of swords. The only thing lacking is explicit nude scenes, something we have grown accustomed to in Game of Thrones. It’s not surprising as the show is aired on BBC, which is not a premium channel. Still, a show well worth your time.

Question about the comics [Comic Spoilers]
So firstoff, I have not read the comics yet. I plan on it eventually, but probably not for a little while to be honest. Being the way that the internet works, I’m not concerned about spoiling anything. I know a decent amount about how the war plays out, as well as most of the differences between what we’ve seen so far and what actually happens in the comics. I’m also familiar with the “time jump” we’re supposedly getting and what that all means.
My question: I’ve seen it mentioned here or there that there is a 2nd Negan lineup in the comics after the one that took out Glenn, and what we got in the 7 finale with Rick and Carl is the show’s version of that. From what I’ve seen, it was extremely watered down and whatnot. However, I haven’t been able to find too much taking about how the comic one went down.
Can anybody give me a good description of the comic version? Obviously some pictures of the panels may help as well.

In what ways do you think Fear The Walking Dead shines or, will outshine The Walking Dead?
What are some of the aspects of the two shows that you find more appealing?
Or do you think it can't be better than the parent show?
But, I'm curious on what everyone else's thoughts were.
I personally think it already does out shine TWD in a way, at least, currently. The stand alone episodes are overdone on TWD and made s7 which could have been the best, subpar.

Netflix just raised the price *again*!
That's the third time they've raised the price in just two years, it is now equivalent to $16USD, almost double what I started paying. And the selection has only gotten thinner and thinner, they're almost down to only their own content.
I'm done with Netflix, I'm not going to pay for a service that just gets increasingly expensive while degrading in quality.

Walking Dead's "fantastic" writing.
Let's take a trip to the season 6 finale. The Saviors block off every possible way to the Hilltop, they even say something about "there's only one way to get where you're going" and yet the Saviors still didn't know that Rick and company knew the Hilltop? This isn't a nitpick, this is bad writing by the so called "fantastic" writers. I know it's irrelevant but it's just another example of how far the show has fallen

What was wrong with Todd? And why was he so nice? It doesn't make any sense!
Todd was a freaky cold hearted psychopath. He murdered a child, and had no problem with killing anybody else or torturing Jesse.
And yet.. He is always so polite and kind to others. He always treated Walt like a true gentleman, refusing pay until he got Walt's formula right, telling him he was sorry for his loss after Hank died and convincing the guys to leave him a barrel of money. He always treated Lydia like a proper lady and showed great patience with her.
He was even nice to Jesse, not hitting him back when Jesse punched him, holding Jesse when he was hurt, leaving him a cheer-up photo, and of course bringing him the ice cream.
I think the ice cream was the nicest thing I've seen anyone do in this entire show. He was nice to Andrea, explaining to her that it was nothing personal before kindly sending her to her doom. He had a crush, which although it was a bit creepy, was actually quite cute because he was so childish and gentlemanly about it.
He was even kind when he broke into Walt's house and threatened Skyler and her child. I've never known anyone who would actually be nice, soothing, and polite when threatening someones life and family. He told Lydia that Skyler was a nice lady who loved her children and it would be unfair to kill her.
I don't understand Todd. Was he a psycho? If so, why was he sometimes so nice. Was he a decent guy who got born into the wrong family? Was the nice-guy all just an act?
Apart from the murder, torture, and lack of basic morals, Todd was a decent guy.
What do other people think of him?

Felina Unfulfilling?
Edit: SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!
Sure, it was nice when Walt exacts vengeance for Hank's death by killing Jack and his crew, poisoning Lydia (thank god, I fucking hated her) but it ends with Walt going to the lab there, and just dying, and the DEA swarms the place and finds him dead, just thought it was slightly anticlimactic. I feel like there are still questions to be unanswered. Do Elliott and Gretchen ever give Walt Jr the money? What happens to Jesse, or Saul? What happens to Walt's family in the coming months? Hopefully there will be a Jesse spin-off that will answer some of these questions, cause Felina sure left me unfulfilled. Just didn't feel like a complete ending, in my opinion they should have spent 5-10 mins showcasing the lives of everyone after Walts death. Also I might get into Better Call Saul, anyone recommend?

I will probably catch plenty of hell over this, but I'm going to say it anyway. I don't understand the bitching and complaining in regards to the pacing and amount of time passing between certain events etc. when it comes to more recent events in the show.
True, it's unrealistic at times but this is an epic story being saddled with a time limitation and being thought out now by two people who didn't ever intend to be doing so. It's not the books where the story can meander along and take it's time setting events up. I've only read the first book and at time GRRM does tend to draw things out.
I have to say that while yes, I noticed that things felt compressed and were happening quickly, I enjoyed the story just as much as I would have otherwise. Suspending disbelief, especially in a fantasy setting, is part of the package isn't it? I mean it's a show about zombies, dragons, gigantic wolves, resurrection, giants, witches, and an often times naked fireproof woman, are we really going to complain that we didn't see an army's uneventful trek across open land?
I for one have enjoyed the ride and don't see why everyone wants to be critical of something that so often hits the mark. Please feel free to discuss and understand that I'm not dismissing anyone's differing views, merely expressing mine. I am completely open to hearing counterpoints and welcome it as I truly don't understand all of the frustration on the part of some. Thanks for reading!

I accidentally watched Felina exactly four years after it aired
I’ve been rewatching Breaking Bad with my dad because he had only seen it once before, and we finished the final four episodes tonight. I didn’t realize until after we had finished watching, but it turns out that we accidentally watched Felina exactly four years after it aired. I am in complete disbelief that this is simply a coincidence.

Why don't walkers attack newly turned walkers?
like the whole thing is that they use their sense of smell and don't attack things that are decaying, but why wouldn't they attack newly turned walkers covered in fresh blood that haven't begun decomposing yet?
also, there was this episode back in i think season 5 where there were walkers inside a building with glass windows, and walkers from the outside could see them. why didn't the walkers from the outside try to break into the building, since they obviously can't smell through walls, or vice versa? i don't watch the show anymore but these are things that still bother me

[Comic Spoilers] I just finished the All Out War arc and it felt very... anticlimactic?
After the incredible end of March To War, with the failed assassination attempt and attempted eeny meenie miney moe, I was so hyped up for All Out War. But It was very disappointing. Many of the fights in Part One are quickly glanced over with narration, and Part Two teased an epic final battle with the Saviors and Hilltop, only to have Rick come out and stab Negan, just to fall to the ground. And just like that... it was over. The fight at the prison was much more epic compared to this, what with the tank and multiple main characters dying. The most important character to die in this was.... Nicholas? I don't know, I just felt very let down by it all. What do you guys think?

This is basically Alexandria 2.0, 2 ways they can escape
I can see only 2 ways they'll escape this
A. Pull a Rick. Everyone Unite to kill them all but you have to be battle crazy like Rick. (Doubt it)
B. The Guts trick.
There is a option 3 but it'll take crazy timing. Madison comes back to see the horde and she uses the water truck to lead them out.

My theory on Nacho's fate
Gus finally has Hector out of the way, but with Tuco in prison, Nacho could be a temporary head of the Salamanca business. Gus will arrange a meeting with Nacho, during which he'll let slip that he knows about the pills, and the secret relationship between Nacho and Mike, Mike probably having told Gus about this already. Gus will extort Nacho as a pawn to run the business the way Gus wants it run until Tuco is released from prison. When he finally is, Gus will ask Mike to kill Nacho. Mike, not wanting to do this, seeks Jimmy / Saul / vet for help, leading to the connection with the vacuum cleaner disappearing man.
Nacho spends 8 years in a small New Hampshire cabin spending his days repeatedly watching Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium until he finally goes insane and hitchhikes to Nebraska to open a toy emporium in a strip mall.

How many people does Alexandria, Hilltop, and Kingdom have vs. Negan's army?
In S7E9, Rick said its not enough people with hilltop and alexandria alone. When he goes to the kingdom, his face lights up and says "they got the numbers".
Im hoping someone could help clarify this.
Alexandria has sustained heavy loses since the beginning of season 6. It looks like theres only 20 people there after the wolves attack, the big herd that followed their attack, plus negan/garbage people attack. Am i right?
Same with hilltop. Looks like 20-25 people living in an area that looks smaller than Alexandria.
Now, Kingdom looks like at least 100 people minimum. Soldiers and civilians combined.
So maybe combined they are like... Err... 150 total maybe?
Negan looks like he might have 200-250 saviors left. Team Family already killed about 70 of them so far and Negan still has more than enough left.
On a side note.. The heapsters... No clue. I counted at least 50 of them at the season 7 finale.
Thoughts?

I actually really liked 7x3, The Cell.
Sorry for being a music noob, but this episode introduced me to "Town Called Malice", "Easy Street", and "Crying". I love all three songs in different ways.
Also, I thought the interactions between Daryl, Negan, and Dwight were well done.
We get to see Daryl in a weak state yet also be a badass by not flinching to Lucille as well as not calling himself Negan. It gives us hope that Daryl will stay tough and retaliate when he gets a good chance. Daryl really didn't even break although he had a shitty experience.
In 6x16 and 7x1, Negan was a brutal evil maniac. He still is, but in 7x3 we see a more charismatic, funny, and sarcastic side of him. We also see his dynamic with the Saviors, as he is portrayed to be their king.
So yeah, good and underrated episode overall imo.
What do you think?

A question about Judith
I'm doing my annual rewatch before season eight starts and I just finished watching S7E12 Say Yes. There was a scene where Tara is watching Judith and talking out her dilemma over whether or not to tell the group about Oceanside. I don't have any experience dealing with kids so I wouldn't know if this is normal, but shouldn't Judith be speaking already? I mean, she's Lori's baby so I wouldn't have been surprised if she popped out of that makeshift c-section and immediately started nagging everyone, but in all seriousness, it seems weird that she doesn't even try to speak yet.

The Good Place just built on its Season 2 premiere rating in week 2, and it exactly matched its Thursday premiere rating from a year ago. Both of these things are almost unheard of in this day and age.
Do you think we're seeing the Netflix effect here? A combination of good word-of-mouth and some Will & Grace pre-tune? Either way, The Good Place is a niche comedy that's defying all the odds and I couldn't be more forking excited about it.

[EVERYTHING] I think people are too harsh on Olly
So I used to be like everyone else when it came to Olly and hated him with all my heart with no second thought. But after rewatching the show for the 4th time, I’ve realized that Olly actually made a decent point in being angry at Jon Snow. I used to think he just hated all wildlings because they killed his family. But after listening to what he said to Sam in Season 5, I think his hatred is a bit more understandable now. Sam argues by telling Olly that not all wildlings are bad so Olly should understand that it will be good to save them. Olly responds by mentioning how the red haired one (Tormund) was part of the group that raided villages and killed innocent women and children. This made me realize that Olly is a bit more logical than I previously thought, since he is putting the blame on a specific person who did wrong things. So I now see why he hates Jon specifically for befriending one of the people who was directly involved in the murder of his family. I absolutely don’t think killing Jon was justified, but I understand why he was angry at Jon for not punishing Tormund at all for what he did. People generally love Tormund because of his comical lines, toughness in battle, and quirky relationship with Brienne. But I think it needs to be remembered that he did commit atrocities that would be hard to forgive if you were involved in them. I’ll say it again, when Jon hangs Olly I don’t really feel bad considering what he did, I just think it’s important that people grasp the extent of where his hatred came from.

[SPOILERS] [Fluff] Walking Dead Treat You Better(Shawn Mendes) Parody Lyrics
I've been singing this in my car every time Treat You Better plays on the radio, because it turns out it's actually a love letter from Rick to Hilltop (with only a few words modified). I'd take the time to record it and stuff but I don't have the know-how.
I won't lie to you
I know he's just not right for you
And you can tell me if I'm off
But I see it on your face
When you say that he's the one that you want
And you're spending all your time
In this wrong situation
And anytime you want it to stop
I know I can treat you better than Negan He Can
And any town girl like you deserves a southern man gentleman
Tell me why are we wasting time
On all your wasted crying
When you should be with me instead
I know I can treat you better
Better than Negan he can
I'll stop time for you
The second you say you'd like me too
I just wanna give you the supplies loving that you're missing
Hilltop Baby, just to team wake up with you
Would be everything I need and this could be so different
Tell me what you want to do
'Cause I know I can treat you better than Negan He Can
And any town girl like you deserves a southern man gentleman
Tell me why are we wasting time
On all your wasted crying
When you should be with me instead
I know I can treat you better
Better than Negan he can [x2]
Give me a sign
Take my hand, we'll be fine
Promise I won't let you down
Just know that you don't
Have to do this alone
Promise I'll never let you down
(I know I can treat you better) [x3]
Promise I'll never let you down
'Cause I know I can treat you better than Negan He Can
And any town girl like you deserves a southern man gentleman
Tell me why are we wasting time
On all your wasted crying
When you should be with me instead
I know I can treat you better
Better than Negan he can [x5]

[Spoilers if you aren't caught up] What I'm hoping to see this season on The Walking Dead
-
I'd like to see a little less suffering, please. They've already done child murder (and child murderers), ritual murder, revenge killings, the whole Abraham-and-Isaac thing with the hatchet, rape, torture, slavery, human trafficking, cannibalism... ease up just a bit.
-
I find it fascinating how a herd of zombies can exhibit traits reminiscent of a storm system, like a force of nature from which one hides in the cellar until it passes. A shotgun against a herd is like an umbrella against a hurricane, that sort of thing. I wonder if a large enough herd would rotate. And then on the other hand, a herd of zombies is also like a super-organism, one that responds to stimuli and can be wrangled and controlled, even used as a kind of WMD. I think it might be cool to have a sort of new kind of "zombie master" villain who controls a herd (or multiple herds) and knows how to use zombies as weapons and even tools. We've seen these ideas explored a little bit on both shows (probably more on Fear) but I want much more of this stuff.
-
After everything Daryl's been through, I'd get him an appointment at a good Italian barber.

Rewatching again - every other show pales in comparison to this
So rewatching BB again. Just finished season 4. I can't stop thinking how almost every other show I've watched may be good, but this, Breaking Bad, is so freaking great it's scary. The best episodes I just have no words for. Beats everything, particularly popular shows like the one recent with dragons..
Found new love for season 2. Oh how dark it is. I get the chills.
Also I can't stand Walter any more. Earlier viewings I could but not any more.
The acting of Aaron Paul is just immense.
Hank's character has grown on me.
Crawl space. Scarier ending scene than complete horror movies. Actually my recent highlight of season 4 and you know, that season has a few highlights..
Looking forward to the end of the journey.

[MAIN SPOILERS] A random theory about the WW I thought of
So we all know that the WW were created by the children of the forest to defeat the first men. Eventually, the children and the men called for a truce and ended up joining forces when the WW got out of the childrens control. And since the WW have returned after thousands of years, people are speculating what their goal is.
Here's my idea: When the WW were created the children obviously somehow made them target the first men only. Well, possibly, when the Children and the Men called for a truce, the WW became useless. The Children no longer needed their protection and maybe tried to destroy them. When they failed, they lost control over the WW and then the long night happened. Well, what if the WW goal is still to eliminate the first men. I mean obviously they'll probably kill anyone who is in their way, but what if their ultimate goal is wipe all descendants of the first men off the earth? There are a few moments from the show that made me think of this. When Samwell is left behind at the fist of the first men, he hides behind a rock when he sees the undead army approaching. A white walker sees him, and completely ignores he's there. Samwell is from the south, and could be a descendant of the Andals or something else. A second time, a White Walker seems to "ignore" Samwell. Kind of. When Samwell and Gilly are attacked by a WW the creature simply throws Sam to the side while going towards the baby. It doesn't seem to care if it kills Samwell, and only cares about the baby with northern blood.
And I know the WW clearly don't usually care who they're killing, they will destroy whoever is in their path, but it seems to make sense that they are doing it to erase the descendants of the first men. Let me know what you think of this! I think it could be interesting if true

Season 2: Jaqen H'Ghar gives Arya his Braavosi coin.
Season 3: Jamie talks to Brienne in the bath/tub (what is this actually called?).
Season 4: Daenerys chains her dragons in the pits of Meereen.
Season 5: Ser Barristan dies saving Grey Worm.
Season 6: At the Battle of the Bastards, when Smalljon Umber gives his "Who owns the North?" speech.
Season 7: When Jamie abandons King's Landing to ride North.

[Main Spoilers] Did Littlefinger give Sansa the answer to defeating the Night King’s army?
In season 4 of GoT, when Littlefinger is escorting Sansa to the Eyrie to meet her Aunt, he is explaining to Sansa that the only way to get to the Eyrie is by passing through the Bloody Gates. He then states something like, “It doesn’t matter HOW large your army is. To get to the Eyrie, you have to walk through the Bloody Gate and only 3 men can stand side by side and walk through the path at a time” (this is paraphrased, not exactly what he said but I’m going off of memory.)
So, is it possible Sansa could recall this piece of information towards the end of the battle in Season 8, and tell Jon they have to take everyone up to the Eyrie and lure the Night King’s army through this pathway, so they can be slaughtered 3 at a time?

[EVERYTHING] Some changes that might have helped the writing in season 7
1. Kill Bronn: The loot train attack is awesome but there's no real price paid on either side – nothing changes by the end of the battle! I think Bronn should die because 1) the events would feel like they had actual weight, and there's too many fake deaths 2) his demise would mark the end of the light-hearted fun times of GoT and 3) It would be a great turning point for Tyrion, who should have started the season full of anger and been tempered by the death of his friend, instead of just wanting the same thing all season.
2. Capture Jamie: Stakes and consequences used to be so central in GoT, so when Jamie decides to ride at a dragon it should result in him being captured, at the very least. He could have the canon scenes with Tyrion except in chains at Dragonstone, and his scenes with Daenerys would have been interesting since he murdered her father, though people are pretty quick to forgive that sort of thing these days. Coming face to face with Daenerys would mean confronting his past, and it could cause him to alter his present. Having Bronn and Jamie both escape in such an unlikely way undermines the cool scenes that the show is otherwise so great at crafting, in my opinion.
3. Fix Tyrion's Dumb Plan: Going north of the Wall never made sense. They wanted the Night King to get a dragon and there are better ways of doing it. The point of the plan was to convince Cersei, but instead the point should have been to convince Daenerys. She makes a deal with Jon – "I'll burn these frost ghosts of yours and you bend the knee". She has good reasons to be over-confident and dragon-fire has solved all her problems in the past. So they fly north on a dragon and get shot down. This way, Daenerys' over-confidence is the reason her dragon dies, and she's forced to face her own mortality. It would give her more of an arc than just falling for Jon Snow faster than Viserion fell into the ice.
For those interested I explored these ideas further in a video essay about the writing in season 7. I don’t think I’m some genius who could have done it better but these are fun possibilities to play around with. Do you agree with these changes, or do you have other suggestions of your own?

Got about 20 minutes into the first episode and stopped because the main characters wife really agrivates me. I've been told so many times this show is amazing and I want to watch it but I don't want to endure her for the entire series. Does she die or leave the show at some point? If so, when?

They can be anything. For example it could be that the sand snakes were cool or hard home was overrated.
Here's mine. I don't think Jaime and Bronn make that great of a duo. I enjoy both the actors a lot, but I don't think they don't have great chemistry, and don't play off each other all that well.

Possible character coming in S4 [SPOILERS FROM BCS AND BB]
So, we see in BCS a young Krazy-8 who is starting in the drug business and working for the Salamancas. We see how scared of Hector he is and we even see how Nacho beats the shit out of him.
Well, while watching the first season of Breaking Bad (right after Walt kills Krazy-8) we learn from Hank that Krazy-8 was far more intelligent than the rest of the criminals he has arrested. He also mentions that he caught him when he was just starting and that since that moment he became a DEA snitch, turning in most of their competitors in order to gain more territory.
So my prediction for S4 is that maybe we'll see Hank, maybe not as a regular character but as a cameo, just like Huell did. Also, some other character we might see in the series would be Emilio, Krazy-8's cousin. This could be possible since Jesse said that Saul got Emilio out of prison twice in the past so we might see one of those situations later in the show.

Weather you like them or not isn't the point its the fact its supposed to be Saul and chuck and only them, if we wanted to see the other characters we would watch BB instead maybe mike Gus cartel etc won't be in season 4 it will only be chuck Saul and maybe Kim and Howard to I think maybe this season should all be parts of jimmies and Kim's buissness should be expanding and jimmy slowly has to gain the trust of the elderlies once again and makes a public apology to the old folks.

Theory/interpretation: Gus Fring.
Here's my theory on Gus' past; former poisoner/elite assassin for the Pinochet government. But it goes deeper then that: I think Gus is meant to be the true parallel to Jesse-from bad to 'good yet criminal' to bad.
Let's look at what was mentioned about Gus' past, and what we know about Pinochet from the real world. Amongst many other human right violations, he's been near proven to have ordered the assassination of a Chilean diplomat in Washington (Pablo Neruda) in 1973. Poison was rumoured. In his own country, he was responsible for the 'disappearance' of at least 663 Marxist MIR guerillas (Wikipedia, but there was a source-147).
My guess is that Gus was one of these assassins, but then ran away because of-three guesses-Max. It's up to interpretation, their relationship. But it was close enough for Gus to decide to leave the country.
Before you think this is that unrealistic, look at Walt and Jesse's journeys, Mike's too. Morality can evolve a lot over the years.
Our dear Hector calls Gus 'the chicken man' in the flashback in Hermanos, right? Well, what is chicken a slang word for?
Coward. Yeah. As he says in the same episode, 'family is everything'. Is it hard to imagine him picturing a state/nation as that different-order, permanency, discipline? All things we can see him imagining the Pinochet government as, right?
As for why Hector/Eladio doesn't kill him, my guess is that the other assassins fled at some point too-Gus was just first. If Hector/Eladio kill him, they could come after him in revenge. And my guess is that Gus was one of the domestic, e.g. The Marxists assassins-hence the 'You are not in Chile any more.
Now, I'm not saying Gus was an angel at this time. He still wanted to go into meth and all after all. But think on Jesse in his 'middle stage'-the beginning of the show. Conversely, he wasn't that great a person, morality wise-but we could see the potential for him to shift back.
TL.dr. Gus and Jesse are the true parallels of each-other- from bad to good to bad, and from good to bad to good-always with hints of the other, and the potential for it-well, except for the 3rd stage, anyway.
What do you think? Also, yes, I will be starting BCS tomorrow. Could it change my mind on any of this, without spoilers?

Posting from mobile, so I can't link to the scene, but when Jesse and Walt have Saul on his knees over the grave, he starts yelling "It wasn't me! It was Ignacio," or something to that effect. [S03E12] Troy Did It On Purpose
Could it be possible that Troy was counting in his head the time Jake needed to be infected more than just his arm? Because he did count multiple adults in the beginning of the season and he still counted something in the beginning of this episode, I'm not sure what. So maybe when Nick was shouting at him to hold Jake's arm he waited for the amount of time for the infection to spread.

[EVERYTHING] Is it just me or does anyone else...
Is it just me or does anyone else find themselves not enjoying other TV shows after watching GoT? I mean that D&D have set such high TV making standards that no other show I'm watching comes even close. So I'm trying to fill the void until s8 airs, there's the new season of Outlander (don't judge) and it's ok-ish, but it is no GoT, also tried the Vikings, but got bored real quick, they all lack something. I think GoT ruined me for other TV shows and now I judge everything by their standards (I know it's wrong, but I can't help myself). I love the kind of stories, the character arcs, the beautiful original music, the intrigue, the mystery, the visuals, the funny bits, the attention to details, the foreshadowing, the costumes, and most of all the emotional roller coaster each episode puts us through. All things I can't find in other TV shows, most of the time these elements come separately but not all together. Rant over, thank you for reading. TL;DR- GoT nothing compares to you!!! sad :(

Question about Jake that has been bugging me...
In the scene where Jake suggests he and Alicia run away together, while they are talking about the ranch not really being a ranch anymore without cattle, Jake says something like "If Otto knew what this place would become he would have killed himself" (to which Alicia pauses for a brief moment)... later in the episode he then seems to be surprised, but not ENTIRELY surprised, when the realization sinks in that Nick did kill his father. My question is: did Jake suspect all along that his father never really killed himself? Or was that line supposed to mean something else that I am missing?

I want Rick too loose the hand this season
So we know this happens early on in the comic and would be hard to pull off having the shows lead character either without a limb or having every episode after it with a make shift hand. It worked with Hershal because of it being a leg so it's easier to shoot but having a missing hand is so much harder to pull off. But my point is that if Rick isn't going to die this season (I hope he doesn't) then a hand loss would be satisfying?

Rewatching and Ozymandius has to have one of the most powerful scenes in television history
The "we're a family" scene in the family house is incredible. Dave Porter's soundtrack along with some pretty damn phenomenal acting has really made that one scene stick out to me as a legendary moment for not only television, but story telling as an art form. The last shot of Anna Gunn and the tangible despair really just blows me away every time I watch it.

Opinion--Too many characters...?
I would just like some feedback on how others feel. I have watched other shows like TWD, GoT, and Lost-- all shows that have a huge library of characters. I never had an issue with knowing who was who until I watched FtWD. To be fair on TWD, I had a very strong foundation as I had been an avid reader of the comic years before it was a show so that is kind of a cheat.
With FtWD, I understand the basic gist of the conflict right now in season 3. On the other hand, there are characters who I simply don't know who they are and what their relationship is with the others. I fee like they're supposed to be major characters based on how much screentime they get, and yet I don't know who they are and what motivates them. [EVERYTHING] Remember that comet back in Season 2? (THEORY)
Well, I believe that everything that has happened so far, can be connected back to that seemingly pointless comet!
As Osha (RIP) said that the comet signifies nothing more or less than the return of dragons. While the Night King had spent his time growing his army before the extinction and after, I believe that the comet must have been what the Night King had been waiting for. Once dragons are back, all he needed was one for himself to bring the wall down.
Once the Night King found out that dragons were back, he launched the attack on Hardhome to make sure that there presence was known, and specifically stared down Jon Snow when he had him right where he wanted him! I'm sure the attack was so he would spread the word how big of a threat they were, which would eventually lead him to ask for help from Dany, who would find out and inevitably bring her dragons to fight them.

Michonnes fate. Comic and show spoilers.
Assuming you have read the comics and watched the show you would know that... a. In the comics Andrea is Ricks lover and she dies at the end of the Whisperer War.
b. Andrea died in he show so Michonne Is ricks lover instead.
Do you guys think that Michonne will be bitten by a walker in the show or will her fate be different?
I personally think she won’t die because her character will mix between her comic character and Andrea’s.

To all the people who keep saying FearTWD is about a group of villains
- There are no 100% good guys or 100% villains in the apocalypse.
- Rick's group has done things just as bad (and worse) as Madison's group.
Neither TWD or FTWD characters are heroes or villains.

[EVERYTHING] If ___ is a messiah figure, then the _______ Summit was a call to salvation.
Some people claim that Jon Snow is a messiah figure; they point to his resurrection, to his self-sacrificing nature and to a life in the fringes of society (as a bastard). Some people also claim that the capture of a wight was foolish; Tyrion should have known not to waste his time with Cersei. In light of the religious metaphor, however, the mission beyond the wall was essential. The Dragon Pit Summit offered an opportunity for people to set their petty grievances and egotistical goals aside to fight for the greater good. Jaime answered the call to redemption, and Cersei didn't. But, both were offered the opportunity.

[SPOILERS]Symbolism of the chess board that Governor played with that little girl
When the little girl painted an eyepatch over the Governor over the white king and said it looked like him and the Governor told the girl that even if the pawns are dead she doesn't lose like when the Governor didn't care about sacrificing his henchmen there is symbolism of the Governor and his crew relating to the chess pieces.
King: Governor Queen: Andrea Bishop: Milton Rook: Merle Knight: Martinez Pawns: His other henchmen like the ones he just shot dead (sacrificed)
Their personalities and traits seem similar to the pieces. Andrea like the Queen can get around from one side of the enemy to back to her allies freely. Merle had a very straightforward and aggressive approach like the Rook, Milton was the intelligence using subtle means to do things too bad he betrays Governor, Martinez is used sort of like a sergeant. Governor like the king has a subtle, slow and steady approach of dealing with his enemies and only if he was killed would the madness end. There's been four instances the Governor was "checked" but they didn't go through which commonly happens in a game of chess.
Michonne could of killed him Andrea could of killed him Rick could of killed him Martinze could of killed him

(Spoilers)Four Episodes Remain In Season Three
I looked up the synopsis that are given for the last three weeks worth of episodes and found the following:
S3E13 - This Land Is Your Land: Alicia is thrust into a position of leadership where she's forced to make life-changing decisions.
S3E14 - El Matadero:Alicia encounters a potential ally; Ofelia fights for survival; Nick uses his skill set for profit.
S3E15 - Things Bad Begun:Strand's motives are made clear when Nick discovers a new threat descending on the dam; Madison faces a horrifying revelation.
S3E16 - Sleigh Ride: N/A
Do you guys have any speculation or theories for what these synopsis' could be spelling for the finale?
-
It seems like This Land is Your Land will be dealing with Alicia being trapped in the bunker with the Ranchers and Natives and her being thrust into a leadership role even though Crazy Dog was seen as being the quasi-leader in the last episode. What life-changing decisions could she possibly make? Depending on how long they're in there could it be that she has to kill off people to spread out the resources in the bunker? They didn't bring water in there with them so that'll be the first issue that comes up - or it could be that the bunker doesn't have enough oxygen for everyone and they'll have to kill people to conserve it?
-
El Matadero's title references the bullfighters which is where the Bazar is located. The Matadero is a pretty central figure to bullfighting so could it be that we see Proctor John in this episode? Could it also be an allusion to how Nick/Troy will have to be Mataderos and bait the walkers into charging at them to save the Ranch? Who's the potential ally Alicia could have at the Ranch? Crazy Dog is already on her side for the most part, who else could it be? How could Nick use his skill set (chemistry? burglary?) for profit if he's at the Ranch with Troy? Or does he leave somehow and end up at the Bazar?
-
Things Bad Begun is kinda terrifying because it's implying that Strand's motives haven't already been made clear. I thought he reunited with Madison and they were going to be friends and help each other out? His debt has been paid so he owes nothing to the Bazar, what ulterior motives could he possible have?? It also says Nick discovers a threat to the Dam so does that mean he does in fact leave the Ranch?? What happens to Alicia? What could the new threat be? If it's new it's probably not the walker herd so is it the other colonies are finally revolting to take over the Dam from Lola? What horrifying revelation could Madison discover? Nick and Strand and Taqa are with her so is it Strand's motives? Was she duped? Is it her own son?
-
The last episode is titled Sleigh Ride and no description is given. Sleighs are typically used in the snow and are powered either by other people or dogs. Since we haven't seen sleigh dogs so far and probably won't be seeing any near the Dam or Mexicali or the Ranch that makes me think someone is going to be pulling the sleigh. If there's snow that means maybe winter is coming? It was around September/October when the outbreak started and 2 months have passed which would put us in November/December which is snow season but not in the region that the Ranch or the Dam or the Bazar are located in. We've seen two separate references to other prepper colonies in the north/Colorado. Could it be that after the Dam is wiped out by the new threa and the Ranch is left uninhabitable that the group heads to Colorado/north? Could we see snow in TWD universe for the first time?
So many questions! Let me know what you guys think, I'm curious to piece together what the last few episodes signify.
