Just caught up, wanna share my thoughts and feelings

So yeah, I think this is a pretty good prequel show, not a lot of prequels can pull that off.

I like how it shows jimmy as a spiraling trainwreck and how he tries to fix his mistakes, yet always tries to screw other people over for his self-interest. He's totally unaware of the consequences of his actions and doesn't really think that far ahead (the commercial, the settlement, etc etc). Him being a nice guy also makes him more fleshed out as a character.

Kim is also way better than skyler. Skyler always complained and wanted walter to stop (yeah I know its a completley different relationship because jimmy actually cares about kim) but she's also way stronger and more self-determined.

I like how in the first season the twist was chuck not wanting jimmy as a lawyer, not howard, and how that one scene where he entered the room portrayed him as a villain with the lights going out and him sitting down.

But one thing makes me question this, and its always a question for prequels:

Is everyone going to die?

I ask this because breaking bad takes place in the same albuquerque a few years after this series. Jimmys face is all over town, and he has a commerical going by saul goodman, and no one ever mentions it? I find it a bit hard to believe that someone like howard or kim would look at him and be like "ah whatever". It seems that having kim die would put him in a place where he has lost his morals that we see him have now, and I don't know about the rest of HHM or whatever, maybe they go bankrupt or the sandpiper firm hires the cartel to kill them all or something. I'm just speculating, but that's my speculation.
