Netflix should do a U.S. version of 'The Crown' following the presidencies of Franklin D. Roosevelt to Barack Obama.

Each season representing a President. Make the number of episodes as long or as short as they need to be each season.

Telling the story of America in the 20th Century and beyond through the eyes of these Presidents would be quite interesting I feel. The depression in the 30's, world war two, the cold war, civil rights, vietnam war, watergate, Kennedy assasinations, September 11th, election of first African American President are all the things they could cover on the show.
