there were at least three 'lets get a close up of every single character one at a time' scenes in this past episode. what are these scenes supposed to accomplish? they all last about a minute and i'm not sure what the purpose is. i can't help but think they are nothing but filler, they could not be in the episode and nothing would be lost.
