In the episode where the cousins' backstory is revealed, there is a scene where Don Salamanca asks one of he cousins to get a cold beer and then holds the cousin's head in the water, making his brother panic and strike the Don, before the Don says "family is all."
In the beginning of that scene, Don Salamanca gets a phone call and is heard saying "never trust a man from South America."
Of course, Gus Fring is from Chili (South America).
