Been thinking about this for awhile. Jaime is widely regarded as having no honor because of the Kingslaying incident (to the public even though we know the truth) but when he is fighting Ned in the streets of KL, he refuses to kill Ned after one of the Lannister soldiers wounds Ned from behind telling Tywin "it wouldn't have been clean". Later in s6 we find out that the only reason Ned, a man widely regarded as honorable, beat Ser Arthur Dayne (one of, if not the best fighter in history) only after he was wounded from behind first, and he without hesitation finished him off. Just crazy to think about how these two are perceived by the public but behind the scenes it's a bit of a role reversal in this scenario.
