Ok. I’ve figured it out. They watched season 3 first, then season season 2, then maybe season 1 or maybe they just watched pieces of season 2.

I jumped onto the fear band wagon really late. Sometime after season 3 aired and then I binge watched all of season 3 over two days. I never went back to previous seasons because everyone said they were garbage. So after season four was a total toilet fire, I went back to season 3 again and then poked around in season 2. Just finished binging season 2 over another 2 day sprint.

Anyway, my point I guess, is that having watched it all in reverse chronological order, the character decisions they made in season 4 aren’t so difficult to understand now. Ironically, they chose to tell season 4 I reverse chronological order too. I can see why they ended with Madison sacrificing herself for her kids, if they went this viewing route. Having said that. They should all be fired because it sucked.
