I have not seen this in a thread (in comments but not a post) brought up so far (I very well could be wrong) but with Rick and Maggie being done after the first half of Season 9 where does this leave Negan?
His stuff from the comics is great as we can all atest too but without Carl and especially now without Rick going forward. Where does this leave JDM and the Negan character. I think he is better suited to lead this show than Norman (he's great but the character has not developed past grunting in about 3 seasons).
What do we think will happen here? Does Negan end up biting the bullet himself or does he step up when called and we then get Daryl and Negan as the leaders? Dwight left so unless he is being brought back he will not be around to "lead" the saviors like in the comics.
Basically the domino effect of Ricks (pretty much confirmed yesterday) death, I would hope this show makes it another season or two just to see how it develops but what do we think?
