After Kim and the judge speak and he sees her still sitting in the courtroom, the next person he calls to the bench is Lester Burns. Lester Burns was a real life lawyer in Kentucky known for being flamboyant and using excessive and outrageous tactics to win over judges, much like Saul Goodman/Jimmy McGill. And much like Saul, he notably had a great sense of humor, even after going to prison for public corruption.
