Is EVERY SINGLE (major) CHARACTER a foil for Walt? [spoilers]

Can't stop thinking about this.

Hank - Walt loves to project himself as a badass, especially in later seasons. But this guy is the real deal (even if he ends up with crippling PTSD) when he manages to get rid of the twins. He also has a similar ego problem, but he is the perfect image for Walt's craving of badass behavior that makes him feel alive.

Jesse - Walt is kind of a shitty father (car vrooming notwithstanding). Jesse is constantly shown to have strong paternal instincts and be an infinitely better father figure than Walt.

Skyler - Some of the funniest scene(s? can't remember) in BB involved Walt attempting to make a move on Walt Jr's principal, and in general Walt lacks any kind of sexual appeal and the writers went out of the way to emphasize this. Skyler fucked Ted. This one I'm not as sure about, and it also might have to do with Skyler not having the ego problem, or maybe actually being really good at running criminal shit when she does.

Saul - Walt tries his best to be a savvy criminal, but nobody in BB quite has the savviness of Saul when it comes to criminal connections. He knows all the guys who know all the guys, and Walt ends up relying on him pretty much to the very end (relying on others is something he absolutely HATES doing, but he isn't really capable of having Saul's amount of connections so he is forced to work with Saul and even threaten him into continuing to work with him).

Mike - Walt's mantra up until the very end is that he's doing it for his family. We know that this is, to some extent or another, complete bullshit (and Walt says it himself). Unlike another certain bald, beard-wielding criminal man in ABQ, whose entire motivation for working in the criminal underground is to leave his granddaughter a big ol load of dough.

Gus - Not only is Gustavo's calm manner (until he picks up box cutters) in stark contrast to Walt's frequent lashing out (and I'd imagine Walt would much rather be as collected and meticulous as Gus than how sporadic and prone to meltdowns as he is), but Gus has everything Walt wants: respect, a zero percent chance of getting caught (until shit goes down at least), a super nice high tech superlab, and enough influence and skills to take down the entire cartel.

Being around people that are better than him in different aspects pisses him off, and makes him try to up his game increasingly to prove to himself that he's better than them.
