Theory About Cab Driver
So I recently began watching the show again in prep for season 5 and I was thinking about the cab driver from season 4. I think it's obvious he recognizes Jimmy. But what if he recognizes Jimmy and not Saul? As in he recognizes him from one of his scams that he ran with Marco in Cicero? I know it's a long shot but I think it's just too obvious of a move to have the cab driver recognize him from his time as Saul.

What does this scene say about Chuck?
So I've been rewatching the series there's a scene in Season 1 Episode 5 (Alpine Shepherd Boy) and its right after Jimmy brought Chuck home from the hospital and he's there on the couch clinging to his space blanket when Jimmy asks him if he wants to talk about the Billboard incident and Jimmy blames his episode on the fact that he saw the story in the newspaper and it didn't really. But then Jimmy confesses and explains that it was a promotional stunt and he only did it to bring in more business and pretty much swears up and down and pleads that he will never do anything like that again and he's thinking about specializing in elder law and then Chuck takes a moment to think and says 'ok, we'll see' and then he just casually takes off his space blanket like its all good and walks over to the kitchen to make coffee and Jimmy is just staring at him like wtf?
And I'm kinda like wtf too because what is scene saying about Chuck's illness? Is he subconsciously (or consciously) feeling these symptoms of this condition in order to somehow guilt Jimmy into being a good person? Because he's literally holding on to his space blanket for dear life one minute and in the next after Jimmy confesses the truth he's no longer affected by his symptoms? And they show it pretty blatantly in the show.
So what is it then, is Chuck knowingly faking this illness to somehow try to control Jimmy? and why does the scene play out like it does with him suddenly being unaffected by it?

[No Spoilers] Some of the treatment against Sophie Turner and her character is absolutely disgusting!
It is absolutely ridiculous that she gets so much hatred from the crazy part of the fandom like the Daenerys stans who constantly bully and threaten her just because of a character that she plays. It's like some of those people are so dumb that they can't understand the difference between a character and an actress. She is not her character! And even so, the hatred that antis give to Sansa doesn't even make sense since she is a great, complex, well-developed character. A character that despite all the abuse that was thrown at her for the first five seasons, she never lost her compassion for others and her willingness to help others. Especially when all she wanted to do was protect her family, her people and the North's independence and freedom. It just cracks me up when some of those same people call her character "Littlefinger in a corset". Seriously? Where? Not once has she ever done anything selfish for herself or betrayed and manipulated anyone for her own gain. Pretty much everything she ever did in season eight was trying to keep her family safe and wanting Jon to remain King in the North. That's the reason why she told Tyrion the truth about him, because she knew how dangerous Daenerys was and wanted to protect Jon from harm. And what does Dany do? Set fire to people when no one forced her to and then try to blame Sansa out of nowhere.
But the actress herself, Sophie Turner getting hatred for literally no reason is just despicable. She's a pretty damn awesome person; intelligent, kind, funny, a badass feminist who works with organizations to help end violence and sexual assault against women and children, especially women and children of color. And yet, idiot antis just want to treat her like garbage. Literally the ONLY "bad" thing she did to really make them hate her was that she talked some smack about the character of Daenerys, which is freaking hilarious, considering that Dany completely deserves to be ridiculed. She has shown herself to be a power-hungry tyrant since pretty much the end of season one. She enjoys burning people alive for simply not agreeing with her, and of course she went off and burned King's Landing, killing millions of people. Which was COMPLETELY in character for her. She has flat out talked about wanting to burn cities since as far back as season two. You just haven't been paying attention. So yes, Sophie is right to talk about how she is a horrible person because she is!
So, they vilify her simply for talking about a FICTIONAL character, even though NOT ONCE has she ever said anything bad about the actors or actresses of the show. And in fact, it is well known that she is very close friends with damn near the entire cast of the show. Especially with Maisie, Kit, AND even Emilia. And if you're mad at her for having fun "making fun" of her friends, then you're really more idiotic than I thought. It's called playful back and forth banter which MANY people in this world have with their friends. There is absolutely NOTHING mean spirited about it at all. So screw all those people who made her life a living hell most of her career for no damn reason. No wonder she has quit Twitter for the time being. She suffered for years with depression and suicidal thoughts because of those pigs. This fandom truly can be toxic as hell.

Seasons 1-3 killed off too many characters
The worst thing about the first 3 seasons is how many characters they killed off. That's about one of the only things the new showrunners are good at is keeping a big cast.
In Season 1 the character deaths were fine losing Liza made sense but they should have added Dr. Exner to the group that would have been a perfect character to add.
In Season 2 Chris made sense to die and I love how like Travis you piece together how it happened. But they should have added on the two kids from that island, Seth and Harry Geary I think they were. Perfect additions to the cast that would have been great. Then getting rid of Charlie and Jack from that ocean port group didn't help add to our numbers either.
In Season 3 they pretty much added everybody and then killed everybody they added. Sure Taqa and Crazy Dog survived but at least one of the Ittis should have survived and joined our group. Either Jake or Troy would have been perfect, probably Troy since people loved him.
Losing Travis and Ofelia thay season only made our numbers lower which means we needed some of these survivors to join and live on with Madison and the others. Maybe if we had some of these survivors alive in Season 4 and still alive now the show wouldn't feel like a total reboot.

Henry Cavill fucking killed it in The Witcher
I know people are probably sick of seeing the show talked about on Reddit, but I was finally able to finish the show and just wanted to gush over Henry for a bit. Don’t worry, this isn’t a post gushing over the entire show about how it’s this amazing cinematic achievement (overall I liked it, but it definitely has some big flaws. I’d probably rate it a 7/10). But Henry brought his A game and it really showed.
I remember when I first learned he was playing Geralt I went “really? Him?” and wasn’t really on board. But then I learned how much of a fan he is of the games and the books, and that gave me a little more hope. But I was still worried that I’d just see “Henry Cavill in a white wig”, and not Geralt. But I think he definitely brought Geralt to life. As an avid fan of the games, I was very pleased with how he was able to do a mixture of his own take while also paying tribute to Doug Cockle’s voice for Geralt from the games. He’s not perfect of course (but I think most of my issues with his performance would be more with the writing than his actual performance) but he showed quite a bit of range I thought he did a damn great job. I’m really looking forward to seeing him again.

A GOOD Walking Dead Game.
Can we start a petition or something for a GOOD Walking Dead Game? I already have it all planned out and it obviously needs work, but come on! We would all enjoy this. It would be a third person, open world game. The open world could be Alexandria, Hilltop, The Kingdom, and Sanctuary (fill in what's between them). The story would be difficult to nail, but my idea would be three playable characters, my idea right now is Rick, Michonne, and Daryl. It would be like GTA 5 in a way, you could switch between them whenever and they would interact throughout the game. The story's focus would be a HUGE herd is on the way and it's your job to prepare for it, while also dealing with other groups, etc.. During the story, their would be flashbacks to each playable characters past/backstory. I know this isn't much to start with, but with the help of the community, maybe it could happen. So any thoughts???
EDIT: Multiplayer would be a thing is this game. You would make your own survivor and you start at whatever main location you picked (Alexandria, Hilltop, The Kingdom, Sanctuary). You're story on multiplayer would start out as your survivor getting exiled from your community. It's up to you to build up your own HQ and thrive. You could raid other survivor's camps, raid main settlements, etc. This would have to be done right so it's balanced, but there's the idea.

Does this show get better? [Spoilers]
For Christmas I got DVD’s for fear the walking dead and right now I’m on season 2 right now, but does it get better? This show definitely has a much different feel to it then the walking dead, which isn’t always bad. The first season felt very slow and could have been better, it was decent but nothing to brag about either. Season 2 seems better and them focusing on living on the ocean is neat which is something the walking dead never got to do. But it still isn’t where it should be to me. I heard season 3 is were it picks up but is that true? Not going to lie I only started watching this show for 3 reasons. First off Morgan who is an awesome character. Second Rick because I heard they would be hinting at where he was taken, the CRM. And 3 because of the walking dead spreading more. And what I mean by this is their will be a third show next spring.

Could be Mount Weather still be active?
The US government's main Continuity of Government facility is located at High Point Special Facility in Mount Weather, Virginia. It is a nuclear bomb shelter designed to accommodate the President and his cabinet and the Congressional leadership. On top of that it is said to be essentially an underground town with its own streets and office blocks, a hospital, a crematorium, cinema and reservoir as well as large food stores. It's currently run by Homeland Security. It's most well known for appearing in "The 100"
It would be impossible for any walkers or raiders to breach the blast doors, and tight security both inside and out means that should anyone die inside and turn they can be dealt with quickly before causing an internal outbreak.
Either our heroes could go there to investigate or maybe even have a new hostile group emerge from there as an authoritarian remnant of the US government/military operating under martial law.

[SPOILERS] Rewatching season one, ep one, and I really think Ned did a disservice to both Cat and Jon. Cat was smart enough to understand it needed to be kept quiet, and Jon could have had a relationship with her.
Also, D&D really fucked up the last season. The intro to the White Walkers was badass, and boy did they fuck that up. Also, SUPER glad they backed out of Star Wars.

American Express
I was washing my teeth and remembering the amazing montage from season 4 episode 7 "Something Beautiful", where both Jimmy and Kim are both thriving in their professional ventures while simultaneously growing apart in their relationship. And then, out of the blue, this made me think of a scene in Breaking Bad where Walt and Jesse hire Saul to represent Badger. When explaining how things are going to go, he says that hell either take cash, or credit cards Visa or MasterCard, BUT DEFINITELY not American Express. Since Kim is working for a bank that is growing, could this be something that the writers will touch on? Maybe he'll defraud Mesa Verde and blame it on Kim? Any thoughts?

Is there a hole in Gus' cover story? [S4E8 "Hermanos]
Was just casually rewatching today and I noticed some issues between Hank's speculations in "Problem Dog" and Gus' cover story in "Hermanos".
Hank states that the Los Pollos Hermanos sheet from Gale's apartment has a parts number on it that references an air filtration system, one that was shipped without payment documentation to Gale Boetticher six months previous. Given that there is no payment documentation, Hank reasons that the company itself is suspicious and likely involved with Gale's operation. It's from there that he makes the logical leaps from Madrigal to LPH to Gus, and then supports his hypothesis about Gus' involvement with the LPH flyer and the fingerprints. Hank essentially insinuated that Gus was the one that waived the payment on the air filtration system.
Now, in "Hermanos", Gus states that he saw Gale for the first time in years only a few weeks prior. It was at that time that Gale proposed a "vague investment opportunity" -- presumably he asked for the air filtration system written on the flyer, the flyer that he obtained when he went to meet Gus. But the timing doesn't match up, as the object asked for was already shipped out to Gale months before with its payment waived, suggesting internal meddling within Madrigal (implied through Gus). Essentially, timing doesn't seem to match up here. For Gale and Gus to have had the meeting that they had in Gus' story, they need to have met months prior, before the air filtration system was shipped.
Does this particular hole completely implicate Gus? No, as it could've been some other Madrigal executive or subsidiary that waived the payment documentation. It could've been that Gale was asking for something else from Gus, or that he had somehow obtained the LPH flyer long, long before he met Gus again. Still, this timing discrepancy and the question of Madrigal's meddling mean that there's a lot of doubt to be had about Gus' story to the DEA. I'm a bit surprised Hank didn't pull at these strings for longer, but then again, he's always been more of a hands-on field agent.

Huge Breaking Bad reference in the season finale of The Mandalorian
Huge spoiler ahead. You have been warned.
In the finale of The Mandalorian, towards the end of the episode, Mando latches onto Moff Gideon’s (played by Giancarlo Esposito, aka Gus Fring) ship and plants a bomb on it. When Moff realizes his ship is about to explode he gets a warning sound and screams “NO!” a second before the explosion. Caught it right away.

[SPOILERS] S8's accidental genius
Before I start actually explaining the title, I'd like to say that, although the final season was noticeable worse than prime Game of Thrones, I still loved it in the way that I like both fancy Angus Beef burgers and homemade frozen burgers. S1-S7 (imo even 7 was really good) were amazing and S8, while definitely worse, is still enjoyable and fun for me.
Now onto my actual post: I've been thinking about S8 a lot recently and I'm just noticing some things that happened and were shown as one thing that was terribly executed (King Bran) but if it were shown in a more "nobody is all good or all evil" way, it would have been amazing. Some of these may be retcons but if it makes the show more likeable/watchable/bearable, it's worth it to me.
1) King Bran. Bran doesn't have the best story, not by far. In episode 4 he says he doesn't want anything at all, but in ep. 6 he asks "why do you think I came all this way" when asked if he would be king. All of the Lords seem to want that, without any apparent reason. One explanation is that they didn't. Tyrion didn't think Bran had the best story. Bran played them all, with or without his psychic powers. Most of that council was loyal to the Starks at one point, and Bran had been playing Tyrion for 3 episodes with his "story", all the while embedding the idea that he was fair and wise into Tyrion's mind. Bran wasn't the good guy, he was as much a villain as Cersei who, in the end, did nothing evil except for not sending an army, that was basically destroyed before eastern mercenaries reinforced, to fight a seemingly hopeless war. And executing a prisoner, that was pretty bad.
2) Master manipulator Sansa. She learned from the best. While she was painted as this brave and incredibly intelligent young woman who wants the best for her people and was the only one to see Dany for the monster she really was, her actual story involved more Littlefinger style politics than heroics. Dany felt alone because of Sansa. Sansa sent girls to all the survivors of the Battle of Winterfell which slowly led to all the people Dany knew leaving the party, making her feel isolated. Sansa used reverse psychology to get Dany rushing her army south so she was weak. She turned Varys against Dany in one episode. She even turned Arya, who was seen to admire Dany and her dragons in S8 and who was inspired by the Targaryen warrior queens, against Dany. And after she took an army that had been through hell twice to lay siege on her allies to free her brother, she sacrificed him so she could be queen of the North. This was political scheming that surpassed even Littlefinger, but D&D painted all of the Starks as heroes that were 100% definitely good.
3) Arya killing the Night King/ Jon yellingat a dragon. I don't really have a problem with this on like many people do. The way I imagine this scenario is this: Arya sneaks through Winterfell, trying to get to Bran. The final gate is blocked, however, by undead Viserion fighting Jon. Jon too was trying to get to Bran. He spots Arya, or maybe Bran was actually useful and told Jon through magic. Jon decides to sacrifice himself, so Viserion is distracted and Arya can go save Bran. He gets out of cover and screams for Arya to go (if you listen closely to the clip you can interpret a "GO! GO GO GOOO!" in his scream). Arya runs over, visible sneaks past the White Walkers and attacks the Night King. This way 2 dumb scenarios are turned into one sad one.
These things combined, with a bit of different storytelling and some season 4 dialogue, would change the ending from "good Stark family saves Westeros and rules, happily ever after except Jon" to "after all these wars, another family comes out on top, with some better people (Jon) being manipulated and cast aside by political masterminds and, in the end, the world is probably a worse place than at the start". I like the latter ending a lot better, and I probably didn't explain it well and left a bunch of holes in my scenarios but that's because I'm really tired and not a professional writer. I hope this has made some of you appreciate the show a bit more, or got you thinking about things that will make you appreciate it more.
By the way: These are not excuses for the bad writing of D&D, I lost faith in them as writers after them not showing up anywhere and the "Game of Thrones was just an expensive school for us" comment, and as people after it came out they pressured Emilia Clarke to do nude scenes. All in all however, the show isn't only the writers and I love it despite of D&D

[SPOILERS] This show is just depressing
It’s my first viewing of it and from the start I didn’t like Walt. He’s just a dick. I’m on season 5 now and almost finished I just saw the scene where Marie tries to take Holly from Skyler and that shit got my heart pounding and my stomach in a knot. Just the amount of shit everyone has gone through because of Walter is insane. Every character I see makes me want to cry apart from Walter. I know he dies I got that spoiled years ago but I just can’t wait for it to happen and I hope it’s fucking brutal or just slow at least. I want him to get a satisfying death and one he deserves for all the shit he’s done to people. I’m probably getting too emotionally invested in this show and it’s not good for me lmao it’s the first show that got me feeling like this honestly. I get anxiety even watching some options and have to take breaks during them. Anyways almost over now, just finish this season then another 5 of BCS then the movie. Fuck me lmao.

[NO SPOILERS] GIVE: Tyrion Lannister Christmas Sweater/Jumper: "I Drink Eggnog and I Know Things", Size L
Hi folks, I have a Game of Thrones-themed Christmas sweater/jumper to give away (for free) to an interested redditor. If you're interested, leave me a comment on this post about how you shared Game of Thrones with other people, and I'll select one in the next 24 hours.
This is the Lannister sweater, featuring Tyrion's famous holiday-modified quote, "I Drink Eggnog and I Know Things," with the show!Lannister sigil on the eggnog mug. The sweater is in excellent shape, only worn a few times. Here's a photo of me wearing it, and another photo of it just out of the wash this week. :-)
I purchased the sweater from Target in the US in 2018, it's a size L. From a non-smoking home.
I'll cover (ground) shipping in the US. If you'd like expedited shipping or shipping outside the US, I'll ask you to cover the difference.

Thoughts on season 5? What do you want in the future?
Kind of a late question and not sure if it’s been asked but im just wondering what people thought about season 5.
I personally think it was the worst season and had some of the worst episodes on the show as a whole.
Also is there some contract not allowing characters to say names of people from Walking Dead. Morgan never directly says Rick or anyone else (I believe) and Dwight never directly mentions Negan (just refers to him as some guy).

Still one of the most disturbing moments for me
The whole thing with the Irish woman who was on her honeymoon when the breakout began. I know at this point we had already seen people trying to survive on their own, but this one always hits different - the idea of her in her little tent with her undead new husband in a sack, so far from home and totally alone as she loses her grip on reality is just so fucking dark. She doesn't even kill people or have it in her to be violent, it's just pure trauma going on in that mind. Reckon I'd go the same way tbh, wouldn't be able to cope at all. It just really moves me on every rewatch

Character's theme song
So I noticed something in a rewatch that I kind of caught before, but never addressed. Nick was the only one on the show with a theme song. 2 possibly, but that's debatable.
The particular one I am talking about first plays as the opening of Episode 4 of Season 2 as Nick is gutting his first zombie, also plays again when Nick talks to Madison about his fascination with the dead in episode 6, and the last time I can recall is when Troy is about to shoot Luciana, where Nick turns the tables on him. It's that same raspy tune each time he's about to go off the deep end. There is no OST for it yet or video, so try to ignore JVS and listen at 4:21
The second I'm referring to that is debatable is the opening song of the pilot episode, as it plays twice throughout the series. Once during the pilot and the other time when Troy and Nick are gorked hugging it out in the horde. The odd symbolism with that scene that makes me wonder where it was going forward towards; it started with Nick running away from the dead, then we get to the second time and instead, he's running towards them. Personally, I think he was meant to be 'King of the Undead" type of character, but that's something we'll never truly get to know. Beginning of the End OST.
Just something I figured I'd share.

Why aren't more people discussing The Witcher and Mr Robot?
I'm really bothered by the fact nobody is talking about these shows at all or comparing them to shows not like them at all very much.
The Wire was a complex drama looking at the different levels drugs affect Baltimore, from the dockworkers to the homeless to the police and media.
Obviously this is exactly like and suitably comparable to a mentally ill person destabilising the global economy while working with terrorists who have a transgender leader who believes in the possibility of a multiverse. How that isn't obvious and something everyone should be repeating, I don't know. To me they are virtually the same story, like watching different versions of A Christmas Carol.
Also, a story about a mutant monster hunter with three main characters is obviously very similar to a story with at least 8 main characters and over 300 in total that's based on the War Of The Roses. Also, the lead in The Witcher wears a white wig and so did Daenerys Targaryen and they are both friendly towards dragons so there's that as well. They both have dragons and manticores in them and are based on books so it's best to ignore their vast differences and only focus on that they have magic, monsters, swords and castles.
In the top 100 threads on here there's only about 20 threads about these two shows, which hardly seems fair. By comparison, there's only two about that same Peep Show scene about the turkey that gets reposted every 3 weeks anyway.
Can we all agree that we need to discuss and make new threads constantly about these shows? I have enjoyed them for the most part and we need more focus on these shows.
I'm tired of everyone talking about Joe Pera Talks To You, Forged In Fire, Laff Mob's Laff Tracks and Fastest Cars In The Dirty South.
There are just too many of those, it gets boring and repetitive unlike bringing up that Henry Cavill cut water weight to appear in a scene where he's bathing which is scintillating to continue discussing in 9 different threads.
So, what are your thoughts on this terrible deficit of dialogue regarding these particular shows?

This might be one of the only scenes where I didn't mind Andrea
Where she angrily confronts Dale about taking her gun, their situation at the CDC and Amy's death. I always found it a little interesting to look at both sides of whether or not what Dale did was right to keep Andrea from killing herself or if he was being selfish. I can understand that Dale came to genuinely care deeply about her that he didn't want to live without her similar to how Andrea didn't want to live without her family from blood (Amy), but I think after a while we can kinda tell that Dale was only putting himself in an extremely risky position with the hope she'd change her mind. Especially with how Andrea was arguing her case.
What do you think? Did Andrea have a point and Dale was being selfish, or do you not see anything wrong with Dale making the choice to stay in the CDC and take the path of giving up his life unless she changed her mind?

Co-star casting in S5E1 from IMDB, speculation and analysis (with a grain of salt since it's IMDB)
Listed in alphabetical order, like on IMDB: I'll be filling these out eventually when I have time.
Austin Boyce...Marcie
- Seen in comedic roles like Black-ish, American Housewife, and Lodge 49
- Also credited for e6 and e9, so she's probably the focus of a new story arc. Maybe this one will take place in Gene's timeline?
- Her resume on breakdown express also states a 3 episode credit for BCS (this might be a IMDB mirror, not sure)
Roland Buck III...Bobby
- Actor was "recently featured as one of PEOPLE Magazine's Ones to Watch" Credits include Dr. Noah Sexton in Chicago Med and
- Credits include Red Dead Redemption 2, like Jeremiah Bitsui
Rogelio Camarillo...Turk
- Bills himself as Bilingual, so we may see him in a Spanish-speaking scene
Timothy Carr...Tent Specialty
- Also in The Suicide Squad (2021), Violence of Action, Walking Dead
- Either related to the promo photo with Saul and Huell at a fair/amusement park or possibly the fumigation tents from Vamanos Pests
Paige Collins...Lois
- Also in Jessica (2016), Chicago Fire (2012) and Mondo Hollywoodland (2019)
Stephen Conn...Shopper
- Conn was also cast as a "party goer" in S5E10 "Winner", probably the party where Chuck and Jimmy sing Karaoke. Unknown if it's the same character.
- related to the Gene scene at the mall?
Lavell Crawford...Huell Babineaux
- This is the only Huell credit currently on IMDB, but there are inevitably more
Allison Gabriel...Bar Association Clerk (as Allison Gabriel King)
- appeared in S4E10 "Winner", has numerous television/film credits so she'll probably have more than just a few lines
Clint Obenchain...Passenger Skell
- "Skell" apparently means a homeless person, but the expression is from New York
Eric Steinig...Nick
- One of Gus' bodyguards, a recurring character in both BrBa and BCS
Jilon VanOver...Sebastian
- One of the members of Ziegler's construction crew, appeared in Season 4
Ruben Barela...Police Officer (uncredited)
- real life APD office, continues tradition of having real officers play police on screen
Cynthia Casaus...Lawyer (uncredited)
- also starring in Deputy, new series premiering in 2020 on Fox (also uncredited)

My opinions on each character in season 5
Alicia: I can’t stand her character in season 5, she decides not to kill walkers and paints on trees. She was one of my favourites, but now she’s one of my least favourite characters. She’s been so out of character throughout season 5, make her a badass again!
Daniel: His character was a joke in season 5! We knew Daniel as a strong, cautious and was a determinant survivor. We didn’t see anything like that in his character in season 5, he acts like a new character that wants to save people. They have butchered his character. Like Alicia, one of my favourites but now one of my least.
Victor: He is like a background character in season 5. He serves no actual purpose in season 5 whatsoever like the rest of all of the cast. Also was annoying is season 5. Wasted potential character!
Luciana: Never really liked her, accept in season 2 where she was a badass and knew about the walker gut trick, but seems to forget about that in both seasons 4 and 5. She should of been killed instead of Nick. Even though Nicks actor didn’t want to be on the show anymore, I don’t blame him. She a boring character who has the least screen time out of any character and again with no actual purpose to the show, both throughout seasons 4 and 5. She’s like a ghost. Hell, we don’t even know how she reunited with the Madisons group in season 4. Sick of her being on the show and having no storyline for herself. Just kill her off already.
John: I honestly don’t see what people see in his character. All he wines on about is how he met June and how it’s changed his life. But I don’t hate him.
Althea: My most hated character. Her character, her camera, also most of her contribution in season 5 caused this season to go downhill, thanks to her presence! Hopefully she gets killed off in season 6.
June: The same as John also am looking forward to see her in season 6.
Dwight: I started to begin to like him in TWD S8 but now I don’t thanks to his forced crossover. He has the same storyline as John and June. Pointless crossover. Pointless character.
Tess: A mother who hides in her house in a apocalypse for at least 4 whole year and yet she holds a rifle in episode 16, logic? How can she be alive?! Stupid character.
Wes: Hate him for outing thoughts into Alicias head to paints trees and butcher her character and now he trying to get into Alicias fongs! Damn you!
Morgan: He was one of the main reasons why I hate both seasons 4 and 5. Bad crossover, bad character, bad presence, bad everything. Hate him. I’m praying he did die in the finale of season 5.
Charlie: If Madison returns and finds out she killed Nick, I’d hope Madison kills her. I don’t hate her but I definitely don’t like her.
Wendell: How the hell has he survived in a wheelchair, WTF!! Most irrelevant and pointless character of the show. Hopefully he meets his demise in season 6. Adds nothing to the show.
Sarah: Her jokes make season 5 really bad, it’s likes she’s trying to turn this show into a comedy. I can see her being an actual interestingly character aside from her jokes.
Dylan: Needs to go. Not fit to survive in the apocalypse. He’s weak and fragile. Stupid character.
Max: Boring character and adds nothing to the show. Himself, Dylan and Annie damaged season 5.
Annie: Same as Max.
Grace: The plot twist with us thinking she has severe radiation sickness but turns out to be pregnant made me dislike her but apart from that, I somewhat kind of like her. Grace doesn’t need Momo in her life, she’s better off without him!
Jacob: Why did they even introduce him?
Virginia: I like her because she has the capability to kill the majority of this stupid, helping people philosophy cast. I actually am looking forward to see her in season 6. Good on you for shooting Morgan! Team Ginny all the way!
Janis: They could do something with her character. Can’t really say much about her as we know nothing about her.
Logan: Most weak antagonist of the series. His death was VERY satisfying.
Tom: Stupid character. He deserved his death. Most forgettable character ever!

Nothing is ruining my Netflix viewing experience more lately than them cutting off the credits to blast a preview in my face
We just finished the John Mulaney special and were enjoying the David Byrne song, but then HEY WATCH LOST IN SPACE HERE'S A LOUD PREVIEW! Same with a movie we were watching last night that actually had additional scenes during the credits, but nope, let's cut it off for another preview. There's no longer an opportunity to decompress or think about what you just watched unless you remember to actually click on the credits to bring it back to full screen. And as far as I've seen, there's no setting anywhere to change this.
It's the most obnoxious user interface change they've made. At least you can mute the autoplaying trailers on the home screen and it remembers your preference. But there's no getting around cutting off the credits to movies unless you deliberately take action to click on the minimized picture. Screw you, Netflix.

A new leader?
Gabriel fucked up as the leader of Alexandria. Negan escaped and Dante, the friendly Whisperer spy, was accepted. Lydia was attacked and therefor the Highwaywoman killed. Aaron almost died because Gabriel forced him to take Negan with him against the will of both of them. After imprisoning Negan for 7 years, Gabriel simply stabbed Dante to death.
I think Alexandria needs a new leader. Question is just who. There is a lack of potential candidates. Even Hilltop has no leader anymore. Daryl would be the best I think if they somehow get him to do it.

As fans, what can we do to improve the quality of the show??
Me and my entire family have been watching FTWD since season 3 started airing. And WOW the show has gone downhill. Nick and Madison both being killed off after one of the best seasons of any show I’ve ever seen is the most disappointing thing I’ve seen in television. My catalyst for writing this was reading about what the original intention for the show was and wow...that would’ve been ridiculously good (I recommend you look into it if you haven’t).
Anyway, it’s gotten to the point where I’m not even excited for it’s return, even though I know it has so much potential! It seems as though AMC hasn’t been receptive to criticism at all. I’ve signed petitions and stuff but still I want to do more. Is there anything I can do other than straight up stop watching??

What do you guys think the main problem is with the show?
As I sit and consider the shell of a once great show Fear has now become, I’m trying to figure out how to fix it and what it’s biggest problems are.
My personal problem with this show boils down to one thing: character motivation.
In the beginning of the show, each person has their own distinct wants and needs that influenced their decision making. Daniel wanted to protect Ophelia, Nick wanted to find his own place, Madison and Travis wanted to keep their family together, Strand wanted to survive, etc.
Here we are in season 5 now and EVERYONE is after the same thing: redemption. They are all trying to redeem themselves and it’s just so boring! It’s as though every character is the same person with different traits. This one films things! This one has a staff! This one is a kid! This one is good with guns! It’s just so antiquated.
Anyone have thoughts?

Unpopular opinion: I don't like John Dorie.
To clarify, I don't hate John Dorie, but I also don't like John Dorie. I just find him....meh. Most of the characters introduced in S4+5 I've predominantly hated, but I know most people are saying Dorie is the best thing to happen to those 2 seasons. I don't see it. I find his character to be a bland, generic Morgan-esque nice guy, who occasionally does trickshots and won't stop going on about June. I don't get irritated every time he is on screen like I do with Althea, Morgan or Charlie. But, I don't feel attached to him.
Comparing him to characters like Nick, Jake, Travis. These were all characters that tried to be good people, but they were layered. They had faults and it felt like there were different sides to them. I don't get that with John. He feels really one-dimensional to me, and when compared to a lot of the characters from the previous seasons, he just doesn't interest me all that much.
Even Chris, who I hated, I felt more interested watching on-screen as I found the direction his story was going interesting. Since John found June, it seems as though they don't know what to do with his story. He has no flaws or issues to overcome. He's just a nice guy who wants to help everyone, which I feel we have enough of in FTWD at the moment.

Why do the FOX “event series” revivals for shows like ‘24’, ‘The X Files’, and ‘Prison Break’ end on cliffhangers with no promise of a continuation?
24’s revival was in 2014 and ended with Jack going to a Russian prison. Going into 2020 there’s still no promise to follow that up in any way.
The X Files did a revival season in 2016 and another in 2018. Like the 2016 season, the 2018 season ended in a cliffhanger. There’s no plans to pick it back up.
Prison Break did their revival in 2017. Same thing, ended with a bit of an open-ending and there’s no plans on a continuation.
What’s with this pattern?? Just finish a story!!

What Fear should have been.
So we know Fear The Walking Dead is messed up guys, but how should it have turned out? Personally I think the reboot was unnecessary and the show would have probably picked up after Season 3 after everyone heard about how great that season was, it did too Season 4's first episodes had really high ratings. In my opinion, the crossover was a good idea but it was done wrong. I think Abraham would have been a much better choice. You could have Fear stay in the past in it's original timeline and fans could see a beloved character alive again before he met up with Rick and crew on his way to Washington. I'm not sure how long he would stay since him and Eugene were hellbent on getting to Washington maybe he and the Fear group get stuck somewhere similar to Season 5 and have to build a plane or something to get out. So what happens to Morgan? I think since Lennie James was unhappy with his screentime it would have been a perfect time for him in the original show with Rick and Maggie leaving. He probably could have stepped up and become a beloved character in Season 9. Maybe in the Pike Scene Morgan could have been one of the big deaths and for his pike they could have used his stick, that would have been crazy! I like some of the things Fear did with the Stadium and the Vultures and the whole radiation walkers thing with the plane so they could use those to great use and make the Vultures more of a threat similar to the Governer and make the baseball stadium like the Fear group's prison. Just get rid of Martha and that storyline, have Madison live, Nick would have to die at the dam or in a similar way to how he did, and maybe bring Taqa and Crazy Dog back instead of Martha. I think all of the Season 4 newbies are great and could be great characters to have even Grace and the kids are great too. There's a lot they could have done but this is just what I think.

Appreciation for HBO/BBC’s “His Dark Materials”
Not a perfect show by any means, but much like the book a really compelling story with complex themes. Doesn’t dumb anything down for the audiences. Probably some of the best visual effects I’ve seen on television (holy shit those polar bears) and it’s genuinely an “epic” TV show.
Dafne Keen is a star. She’s a better actress at 14 than half the talent on the big screen today. I’m super confident that we’ll be seeing a lot more of her in the near future. Ruth Wilson is magnetic. She’s kinda underrated as an actress, but deserves so much more praise than she gets in general. Lastly I’m a straight guy, but damn James Mcavoy is a handsome dude.
Highly recommend, it’s pretty family friendly too.

What are your thoughts on this odd TWD Dream I had?
Right, so I had the weirdest dream the other day about the Walking Dead (doubly odd as I rarely dream) and I'm wondering what you guys think of it.
We all now that during Season 5, Sasha picked up some of Comic Andrea's story (Losing Bob=Losing Dale, Becoming the group's sniper); and this dream I had saw this going further and saw Sasha in a relationship with Rick.
What do you guys think of this concept? I know Rick and Sasha weren't super close in the show we got, but could it have worked? Do you think they could've got together? I like Rick and Michonne don't get me wrong but this dream certainly had me thinking about this what if scenario.

S9 Episode 4 Discussion
Hello! I am on my first watch currently and I have to say... I am really disappointed in how Maggie and Daryl are treating Rick this season thus far. Did anyone else feel this aggravation on their first watch?
I understand they wanted Negan dead but I just cannot believe how they are treating someone who had their back time and time again. They are both two of my favorite characters but they’re acting spiteful and kind of wack so far. Am I alone on this one?

Since I heard that the creators of the series are video games fans I was thinking if the names Chuck and Kim are a reference to Chuck Peddle (the engineer behind the Motorola 6800 and some MOS chips that powered many computers and videogame consoles of the 80s and 90s) and the MOS/Commodore KIM-1, one of the first microcomputers, powered by Peddle's MOS 6502 CPU.

Was the show originally going to go for a supernatural theme in season 1?
First of all, I still marked this as a spoiler in case someone living under a rock still hasn't seen the best season of The Walking Dead (Don't @ me). But in one of the episodes the character Jim begins digging a bunch of graves up on a hilltop. At this point no one is dead, so what he's doing seems to be the effects of heat stroke.
However, later on, a Walker attack on the camp leads to a bunch of deaths. After the Walkers have all been killed off, Jim reveals that he saw this in his dream. That's an awfully strange thing to dream about if you ask me. I know that they later went with a virus/prion/parasite or whatever that restarts the brain stem, but was the original intention for the Walker epidemic to have a supernatural origin?
Also Jim was a really interesting character, its a shame he went so early.

[Mr. Robot] Series Finale - S04E12-13 - "Series Finale Part 1 & 2" - Discussion Thread (SPOILERS)
Submitted December 22, 2019 at 09:42PM by V2Blast https://ift.tt/2sSGePe
Mr. Robot’s finale tonight in my opinion just cemented itself with the greats like Breaking Bad, The Wire, and The Sopranos.
The whole show has been building up to this moment. All One mans vision, and it just ended so beautifully. I fully believe now that it’s over it will begin to get the respect it has always deserved and more people will start watching it. I can’t say much without spoiling the entire show but just WOW! If you haven't seen the show already I urge you must because seasons 3 and 4 are some of the best television I have ever seen.

A scene I wrote after rewatching the episode Nailed.
I am an aspiring screenwriter and a big fan of this show. In the episode Nailed(Season 2, episode 9) Chuck confronts Kim and Jimmy claiming Jimmy changed the Mesa Verde documents. Chuck then says " I can't believe my own brother stabbed me in the back." After that moment I thought Jimmy would mention how Chuck back stabbed him in the past. I decided to write a little more of the scene with Jimmy mentioning that. I would appreciate it if anyone would like to read this writing and review whether or not this would fit with the writing of these characters.
Here is the link to my writing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YgL9DkOarxq6pcm70TzkoDosOs6Nd3Bg/view?usp=sharing

Did El Camino close the book on a Jesse Pinkman appearance in BCS?
There was an interview with Aaron Paul after BB ended but before BCS debuted where he strongly implied that he may make an appearance in BCS. Jesse did know Saul from before BB.
He said that a dialogue about it with Gillian had happened. But perhaps that idea doesn’t exist now that Jesse had a whole movie dedicated to him.
What do you guys think?

CRM theory-Helicopter people- Spoilers for TV show season 7/8/9 and FTWD season 5
Theory.
I've shared the picture of twd3 set (TWD:World Beyond) not too long ago and there are 3 communities in CRM
1.Civic Republic-currently Unknown
2.Portland-currently Unknown
3.Omaha-The setting of The Walking Dead:World Beyond
Jadis said that Helicopter people are stationed very far away,I think I have a theory about that revelation. First of all I know many of us are "in bad mood" when it comes to Fear. Ending of first episode in season 5 actually tells a lot... While Althea is searching through maps with logo of CRM she finds one with state of Oregon (I've checked exact lines and It is Oregon). Oregon is way way way West so it is basicly (very far away) what Jadis said. On number 2 we have Portland and its worth mentioning that Portland is city in Oregon. If the helicopter people are far away from Virginia it could very well be Oregon.
Rick Movies - We had a teaser that showed Philadelphia skyline and helicopter going towards it. I maybe got a theory on that aswell, there is no way that Helicopter can get to Oregon without refueling + Rick has Major injuries so it is possible that they stop in one of their Locations/Outposts which is a damn city!
Like I said it is just a theory,I don't have evidence of any of it being true (there is actually like 30+ Portlands in USA lol) Please feel free to discuss this and let me hear your opinions,Thanks!

Breaking Bad easter egg that I've never seen anyone mention anywhere.
There's a scene in the emoji movie, roughly 10 minutes in. The movie takes place in some kid's phone. That kid is sitting in a classroom learning about ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics. To the left of the teachers white board you'll see 3 elements from the periodic table sitting one on top of the other vertically. The first is Br, then comes Ba, then the final element, which I wasn't paying attention enough make note of.
Why am I watching the emoji movie you might ask? Well because fuck my life, it's my three year old's favorite movie at the moment. That means I get to watch it upwards of 3 times a day 🙄 Not only had I never noticed, I've not seen it mentioned anywhere either. I guess this could be a coincidence, but come on. When I inevitably watch it again tomorrow I'll try and make note of the 3rd element and take a picture of what I'm talking about. This way you you wont need to subject your self to this abhorrent insult to film.

The walkers
So this post is more than one thing.
First, why did the walkers aggressive attitude like throwing rocks and climbing get removed? They are dumb as hell now and only pose a threat as a horde.
Around how many walkers are we expected to see when the war comes in, the walkers vs communities. (Your guesses)
Can walkers with eyes intact see humans?

With all the talk about the Witcher and Game of Thrones, I thought it's a good time to mention the brilliance of the Last Kingdom
The Last Kingdom is honestly the best fantasy show television has produced outside of Game of Thrones. The characters are very well written, and the budget goes way up after the first season.
I feel like it's not talked about enough considering just how good it is. I loved the hell out of it and I can't wait for the next season to release.
It really is an excellent show and I hope more people talk about it. It's on Netflix and I highly recommend it.

Wasn't it weird that this one major character was missing?
I'm talking about Maggie Greene who was supposed to be the mayor of Hilltop community.
I don't remember anyone acknowledging as to why she's missing, I get that the actress chose to leave temporarily, but still, they should have somehow made up believable story, otherwise the 10th season seemed bland and without realism, like I was realizing it's a show not something to immerse in and believe in.

Figured I'd post for anyone lookin for the story of the Chicago Sunroof. I didn't make it up. I'm not the first person to do it.
Quick question. Who here knows what a Chicago Sunroof is? Anybody? You, sir? No? Okay. True story. Back home, there was this guy named Chet. Now, Chet was a real asshole. He might have owed me some money. He might have slept with my wife. Before she became my ex-wife. The details don't matter. Suffice it to say, I was wronged. All right. So one summer evening I was out having a few drinks. One or two, maybe three. You get the picture. And who do I see? Chet. He drove up and he double-parked outside a Dairy Queen and went in to get some soft serve. Now, Chet drove... And this will give you an idea of exactly what kind of a douchebag this guy was. Drove a white pearlescent BMW 7 series with a white leather interior. So I saw that thing and I had had a few, like I said. And I climbed up top and I may have defecated through the sunroof. Not my finest hour, I'll grant you that. But that's what a Chicago Sunroof is. Now you know. It's a real thing. I didn't make it up. I'm not the first person to do it. There's a name for it. Guy wanted some sort serve, I gave him some soft serve. I did not know that his children were in the backseat. There was level of tint on the windows that I'll maintain to this day was not legal in an Illinois licensed vehicle. But somehow, that's on me, I guess. Who leaves two Cub Scouts in a double-parked cat with the engine running? Come on. Now Chet was connected, like Cicero connected. So usually I'd be looking at malicious mischief, public intoxication, disorderly conduct, maybe. But he's got the DA saying indecent exposure. Calling me a sex offender. What? One little Chicago Sunroof, and suddenly I'm Charles Manson?! And that's were it all went off the rails. I've been paying for it ever since. That's why I'm here! I don't... You know what? Any of this stuff you want, come get it. Kitty-cat notebooks for everybody. Storms out of door
