Mike and Jesse

Despite being completely polar opposites and starting off as enemies I always felt this was the best friendships/partnerships of the show. It was cool seeing Mike being annoyed and wanting to get rid of Jesse but then over time respecting his loyalty and realizing he was a decent kid that didnt belong in this world. What do you think the turning point was in their relationship? I always liked that scene in the diner when Jesse wants to get high and Mike gives him his food. Its a small subtle thing but showed he had a little care for him
