[SPOILERS] People aren't upset that the main cast didn't die, people are upset that they survived situations they shouldn't.

This last episode was atrocious in that regard. Everyone was so close to dying over and over again, they all were put in impossible situations, but every time the camera shifted back and forth they were suddenly fine again.

If the writers didn't want certain characters to die at at certain points they shouldn't put them in such scenarios from the beginning.

Of everything in this show, from White Walkers to dragons, it's this insane plot armor everyone suddenly has which makes the show feel incredibly unrealistic to me.

As examples:

Jorah was in the frontline of the Dothraki charge, he should've died there.

Half the cast was in the frontline of the charge of the undead army, they should've died right there.

Sam was laying on the ground crying half the episode, how did he survive?! Did the wights pity him and left him alone?

The worst example is when the Night King resurrected more wights and they surrounded Jon Snow. He had a small army of them around him, but the camera shifted focus to someone else and when the camera went back to him he fended them, a small army of brutal, fast and powerful zombies, off long enough for Daenerys to save him.

I don't want every main character dead, I just hate seeing them in scenarios any irrelevant character wouldn't survive over and over again.
