Just gave the series a rewatch, but how’d Walt get that stolen Volvo to NM??

Okay, so I just spent the last couple weeks rewatching the entire series.
I just finished today, and it occurred to me that Walt drives that white Volvo all the way from the bar in New Hampshire to ABQ. Marie even mentions it while talking to Skylar about Walt possibly being in town.
When I saw Walt pull up to the gas station to call the Schwartz’s publicist, I realized he’s been driving this stolen ass car.
He makes it all the way to NM (~2000 miles) and doesn’t get picked up at all?? Was any mention or acknowledgement ever made to this fact? Did I miss something, or is this some weird plot hole?
