I just finished rewatching the show again (after like 9 years or so) and still enjoyed it a lot. All the main characters were memorable (Dr. Cox was the best, followed by JD and Elliot for me) and fun and even if some had their bad moments they never became annoying for me. They had great chemistry and unlike other shows I even liked the main romance, it didn't feel forced and didn't take over the show like in other series.
I also loved how the show balanced hilarious and emotional moments without feeling forced. There were some really heavy episodes (like when Dr.Cox loses 3 of his patients or the famous "Where do you think we are"). The show remained consistently great throughout S1-S8 for me which is pretty special because most shows, especially sitcoms decline at some point.
And I'm glad that they delivered on the last season and ending..so many shows fail there but thankfully not Scrubs (S9 doesn't count, it's more of a medicore spin off). The book of love montage at the end is just perfect
