Why didn’t Walt just kill himself after he buried the money?

Everything would’ve worked out perfectly if he did that, nobody would’ve found out about what he did, Skyler wouldn’t have been in legal trouble and had to move to an apartment, his son wouldn’t have despised him for the rest of his life, Hank would’ve lived, Saul wouldn’t have had to move to Nebraska and Skyler would’ve been able to keep all the money. Seriously EVERYTHING would’ve been perfect if he killed himself. He knew he was gonna die anyways and so did Skyler and Walter Jr. And while I’m on the topic why did he ask Jack to kill Jesse? Such a selfish move, imo it was more selfish for him to ask them to kill Jesse than it would’ve been for him to just kill himself. In fact him killing himself would’ve been the most selfless thing he could possibly do. Everyone’s lives would’ve been so much better if he just killed himself.
