Just watched Season 3’s Episode 5 ‘Chicanery’. I’m still mesmerised by the performance, acting, cinematography and writing. Chuck and Jimmy are so weighted, nuanced and gripped with realism, it just makes for fantastic viewing.
One of my personal favourite moments was when the camera slowly boxed Chuck in whilst he rambled on about Jimmy to give the impression that his mind was completely at free flow and that the attention was toward him and him only. Then it slowly retracts when he realises he’s lost control. Superb.
A 10/10 episode with a distinct ‘Better Call Saul’ taste to it.
