Whatever we make of the Littlefinger plot in Season 7, he was only beaten by an all knowing superhuman. I had wanted him to lose ever since he betrayed Ned Stark but all the while I admired how he played the game and only wanted him to lose in a fitting way. That unfortunately did not happen. No Villain can ever scheme against the good guys if Bran is in the picture.
Then in Season 8 people were mad why Bran didn't inform that Euron's fleet was looking out for a sneak attack. See something here? Whatever happens people won't be satisfied. Because the 3 eyed raven is just such an overpowered figure that him taking sides in human conflict makes it difficult to have interesting narratives. If he uses all his powers then it makes for boring drama and if he doesn't then it becomes a plot hole as to why he didn't.
In the battle against the army of the dead it was fine to have him. That didn't seem unfair or didn't make it one sided. But imagine if Stannis had Bran on his side in the Battle of Blackwater Bay? No wildfire trap or anything like that would work. No surprise entry from Tywin catching them off guard. It would totally kill the dynamics of war in that world.
He should have been presented as someone who will always be neutral in human conflict like some sort of three eyed raven vow. Or make sense of it any other way to limit his powers beyond fighting the army of the dead.
Dany wasn't wrong in doubting that it's all so convenient that only his brother knows about Jon's true parentage with literally no one else to verify it. Sam can only verify the marriage which still has nothing to do with confirming who Jon really is. Bran is like a cheat code to solve problems that didn't seem to have a natural solution and that in my opinion is bad storytelling.
