The first time I watched BCS, I hated Howard. I thought he came off like a pretentious douche who just hated Jimmy for no good reason. Then you find out he was just covering for his brother and he’s actually always liked Jimmy and your view of the character switches almost instantly.
Now I’m rewatching season 1 for the first time and Howard doesn’t seem like a jerk at all. It’s so weird how additional knowledge can completely alter how we view a character.
