I realize anybody who dies becomes a walker. The thing is there are hundreds probably thousands of living people in the area they are in, and if we assume each of them kills maybe 10 zombies a day, that's like 10,000 walkers a day.
Wouldn't the population of walkers eventually die down to a few here and there?
There are so many people killing so many each day.
It's been a few years (show time) so let's say 1,000 people are alive in their state of Georgia. Probably an underestimate but we'll go with it.
Let's also say they kill 10 a day each. 10,000/day x 365 days = 3.6m kills/yr. That's 10.8m walkers, and the population of Georgia is 10.5m so they would've wiped out Georgia by now.
Sure some maybe migrated but there should probably be much less than there are.
