Throughout the series, I noticed that Jimmy displays traits of a person who may be depressed. This especially hit me when Chuck was talking to Kim about Jimmy stealing from their father, only for him to die 6 months later, and Jimmy was the one who cried hardest. Chuck's comment afterwards was "He's not a bad person, he has a good heart, he just can't help himself." It seems conscience is often a prevalent theme in Better Call Saul, and Jimmy's conscience seems to weigh on him. It seems Jimmy is often elated at one point, and feels isolated and of less value than everyone else in the next.
Just a thought, would be interested to see other's takes on this.
