I find this amusing because a GoT actor is a real-life example of complicated noble lineage can be, in particular how caste takes precedence over the usual rules (the choice to use a hyphenated last name "Arbuthnot-Leslie" in the 19th century probably wasn't due to feminism.)
The story itself works this way, such as how Lysa takes the Arryn name after marrying Jon, but of course doesn't take the surname Baelish.
She's also a 7th-cousin of husband Kit Harrington, which is great. That's probably a further relation than most marriages, but still a weird thing to have to know.
