Is Avatar: The Last Airbender really that good?

We're looking to start a new series on Netflix and can usually do about 1 show a night. My wife and I are early 30s. Is it worth convincing my wife to try? Will we enjoy it? I know the echo chamber of Reddit hails it as the greatest thing, is this really true?
