[No Spoilers] Is season 8 worth it?

Basically, the title. I’m a first time viewer, and I’m most of the way through season 7. All I’ve been hearing about season 8 is constant complaining, but I’d like to hear other opinions before deciding whether to watch it. What did you guys think of season 8? Is it worth a watch just to be able to get an ending? Or is it not worth it?
