So the civic republic wants to bring back civilization. They kidnap Hope because she's "special" So special they wipe out 10000 people? How are not a single 1/10000 important for the future generations? Doesn't make sense. You want to bring back civilization but kill an entire colony of people, bring suspicion on your own organisation just for Hope. Anyways, enjoyable show. Elton, Percy are great characters.
