Oh man I'm hooked!
After watching the first episode twice and dropping it (just got distracted with other shows) I finally decided to commit and see the whole show.
This season really felt like it was laying the ground work for all the characters, I must say two stand outs I have so far are Glenn and Darryl (also love to hate Merle, hope that stumpy bastard is seen again).
I think what got me hooked especially was the last 2 eps at the CDC, seemed more epic in scale and really built up the mythology. WHAT DID THE DR WHISPER TO RICK?! (Don't tell me, but thats gonna bug me)
Also, can't wait til Rick finds out Shane was banging his wife...I just know that shit will come out soon
I'm really enjoying the heavy serialized continuity from one episode to the next, im used to shows having a mix of stand alone and myth episodes, like Supernatural. Question, without spoilers: does this kind of serialization continue, or is it a little more loose later on in the show? I'm fine either way, but sometimes if its too heavy on the serialized stuff, I miss out on small things/references along the way, especially since I only catch an episode a day.
Really excited for what's to come!!
