No spoilers.
I just finished the episode kill-pr0cess.inc in season 3 and I'm still reeling. I can't believe I bounced off this show the first time I tried to watch it. Mr. Robot is a show with an amazing pilot that has a small dip in quality for the first half of the first season, so if you are like me and stopped watching for whatever reason, it's time to drop whatever show you are watching that probably isn't as good as Mr. Robot... and go watch Mr. Robot.
I'm going to need some time to finish the show and digest it, but this may end up being the best TV show I've ever seen, and I've seen most of the "big ones."
Besides Rami, The thing that stands out the most to me the most is the soundtrack. I've been watching a lot of TV over quarantine, namely Dexter and Hannibal. Although I loved both of them, they repeat a lot of the music to the point where you can recognize certain themes. With Mr. Robot, It feels 100% handcrafted 100% of the time. This is seriously some of the best use of sound I've ever seen and the fact that they manage to maintain such a high standard throughout the show is incredible.
The back and forth between Christian Slater and Rami Malek is a thing of beauty and one of my all time favorite acting duos now. The cinematography, editing, acting and everything else is just top notch. BD Wong is amazing and can't go without being mentioned. Also Elliot Villar as Vera was absolutely terrifying. Watching him made me feel like I was watching a slightly less crazy version of Tuco from Breaking Bad again for the first time and really what higher praise can I give than that? His pressure was absolutely huge on screen and I was hanging on his every word. This shows the shit.
