[no spoilers] I just watched S3 E9 where Rob and Catlyn get slaughtered. Is there ever a happy point in GOT?

I hate how the show just gets more and more depressing as the story goes on. Literally nothing good has happened to anyone but Daenerys, but only after her husband died. I don’t want to keep watching this if all that happens is people keep getting slaughtered and I keep getting depressed.
