While I was rewatching the show I noticed after Tyrone and Carol find out the girl ( I got forgot their names) kill her little sister Carol brought her out to pick wild flowers for her sister. The girl know Carol is upset with her and I think she knows she is going to die. Anyways, carol tells her to look at the flowers as she pulls out her gun and shoots her. This is a direct reference to George telling Lennie to tell him about the farm they'll have and during the explanation George shoots Lennie.
