Why didnt Father Gabriel ever mention the helicopter to anyone

So I think we've all asked this question since early S9 aired but I've never really discussed it with anyone. So here's the main question here:

Why didnt Father Gabriel or Negan ever mention the fucking helicopter that was clearly had communications with Jadis, which disappeared at the same time Rick apparently died, Father Gabriel never once said 'oh yeh just before Jadis fucked off she spoke about a random community far away and they have helicopters' or you know just atleast something. Negan doesnt mention it either, I get hes been a prisoner for a long time but still after 6 or so years he never brought it up once in conversation with say, Father Gabriel?

Maybe itll be addressed in these additional S10 episodes. I have a feeling they purposefully havent mentioned it because if they did then the connection would have to be made between Rick "dying", Jadis leaving and the helicopter, and I think they're saving that plot device for S11b so they have some setup for the movies or The Daryl and Carol show.

But still 2 years and nothing, this show is great but they definitely love to drip feed us info with this whole "you'll have to wait and see" attitude of showrunning.
