A (Pretty much) Perfect Ending (Warning!! Minor spoiler, do not read unless past “Season 3, Ep 12, “Clear””!!)

Okay, as a huge fan of Zombie pop culture, I’ve played pretty much every Zombie game available to me, and also watched most Zombie movies and TV shows I’ve been able to get my hands on, apart from The Walking Dead, until a few weeks ago.

I’ve recently finished Season 8, and couldn’t help but feel the same satisfaction as watching a show end, as I finished the season, even though there is another 3 seasons of the show after it. Personally, I believe that if the “part”, shall we say, that Maggie, Jesus and Daryl have, towards the end of the last episode, “Wrath”, was removed from the show, and just before the “Letter to Carl” ending of the season played, it showed how the community had evolved over the months / years after the events of the last episode, such as building up The Hilltop with the ‘Key to a Future’ book they got, a certain someone who was apparently going to “rot in a cell”, actually becoming a functioning member of the community, Morgan getting back in touch with the ways of Akido and Rick and Michonne raising a family with Judith and the baby from The Sanctuary (Gracie, I believe), then playing the “Letter to Carl” section. With little questions to be answered, a moral ending (All life is precious), no more main characters dead than needed and an original, non-cliche ending to what is easily my favourite show ever created, I think this would be my ideal send of to The Walking Dead.

Just thought I’d share this little piece of my mind with you all. If you think there was a better part in the show to end off on, let me know. As always, this is my opinion, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on it. I’ve tried my best to keep spoilers to a minimum, and I’ve put a warning in the title to help prevent people from getting spoiled.

Have a great day, and and thank you for reading! 😊😊
