Correct me of I'm wrong, but it seems like the rules are that walkers don't actually need to eat and are basically immortal while left alone. Could you rig up some kind of treadmill system that generates energy forever if you chain them to it so they're constantly moving it with their shuffling (like wind up electronics)
Solar power is probably way faster and more efficient, this is just a discussion for the hell of it. TBH I'm not caught up and not sure if it is definite that Walkers never tire out and stop (28 days later is the only example I can think of that showed this, Zombies that actually fell over and can't move anymore over time)
Probably a dumb question, just a shower thought haha
