I just finished watching the first 2 episodes on CBC and its wonderfully acted. Tender, romantic, and engaging is how I would describe it so far.
I am in Canada, but I feel most of you can watch this on Hulu or BBC.
Its based on a novel according to the end credits, and so far so good.
Best way to describe this is romantic like "Before Sunrise" with the high school element and caring about how others perceive you, like "Pretty In Pink".
This series does feature more R rated sex scenes and nudity, but if thats okay, I highly recommend this show.
