recently started watching all of my shows and movies with subtitles on, does anyone else do the same thing? I've found it easier to understand the plot and catch details that I probably would have missed before. Plus, it saves the extra time of rewinding. I also really enjoy seeing the song lyrics when a certain song plays, it really makes you see how the song connects to the certain scene.
Not only that, but you would be surprised about how much background dialogue is actually said that most people miss due to sound and other noise effects played.
It just feels normal to me now, and once you start doing it regularly it's sometimes harder to get back into the habit of not using them. At times when I'll try and turn them off, they always end up back on 5 minutes later 😂
