i’ve gone back to the beginning of the series to try to find the point when the writing began to take a turn toward the ridiculous. there are moments throughout season three where the quality begins to show signs of deterioration, but the finale really takes the cake. andrea’s half-hearted effort to pick up the pliers combined with her complete lack of dexterity is outrageous. and even then, milton could have easily used his belt or shirt and tied himself to the wall to buy her all the time she would have needed. the suspension of disbelief required to accept the outcome is incredible. the contrivance is so thick that it can be cut with a knife.
which other situations are ridiculous?
