[SPOILERS] Jenny's song is about how we were feeling as we watch the final season

I was just thinking about it when I woke up today. For me, it's a obvious choice since it's a sad song about a person whom that witch at High Heart miss so much. The same way, we were already missing the show.

High in the halls of the kings who are gone

Jenny would dance with her ghosts

This first part is the only stanza of the song in the books and, since it was Dan Weiss who wrote the rest of the lyrics, probably the book's song doesn't have the same meaning as the show's, but I think it can fits my theory as well. Think about yourself as Jenny and GOT as Oldstones. Oldstones was the fortress of house Mudd in the age before the Andals. Nowadays the castle is just ruins and the Mudd kings are long gone. It reminds me the series at the beginning, those days that had long passed and now we are just "dancing" (rewatching) with our ghosts (characters).

The ones she had lost and the ones she had found

And the ones who had loved her the most

The characters we've seen die, like Robb and Catelyn at the Red Wedding, and the new ones who we met, like Daario Naharis and Lyanna Mormont. We loved all of them alike.

The ones who'd been gone for so very long

She couldn't remember their names

That was the stanza who made me theorize this song. Do you remember Robert Baratheon? Yes, maybe you need a moment to remember but you do know who he is. Syrio Forel? This one is harder, right? And Jory Cassel? Almost impossible, even for the fanatics. This is almost a recap of the ones who we loved at the first season. But in season eight, after eight years, there's nobody to remember them, inside or outside the show.

They spun her around on the damp old stones

Spun away all her sorrow and pain

We feel sad for knowing the end is near (since this song was presented at eve of the battle of the winterfell) and we go back for when the end was just a place at a millions footsteps from we. Thus, our sorrow and pain are "spun away".

And she never wanted to leave

Never wanted to leave

Never wanted to leave

Never wanted to leave

I guess it's pretty clear, now the end has come, we don't want it to end.

They danced through the day and into the night

Through the snow that swept through the hall

From winter to summer then winter again

Til the walls did crumble and fall

We've been trying to "spun away" our sadness by rewatching the show all over and over, seeing the bad moments, the good moments and, more importantly, seeing everything get ruin.

I guess that's it! Maybe I'm just imagine things or trying to see things where it doesn't exist, but whatever. I apologize for any grammatical errors I may have commited.
